SM 0 Posted November 23, 2006 when i have watched rob eagle play in the reserves over the past two seasons, and in recent times i have always thought he hasn''t got enough pace to be a winger. so he may eventually move into central midfield because of his good passing ability. if we try this it would allow us to get carl robinson out of the starting lineup, an into the reserves where he rightly belongs.my formation would be for hull would be:gallachercolin dublin shacks druryMcVeigh etuhu safri eagle hucksearnshaw this would also allow us to switch to a 4-4-2 when hucks roams and isn''t getting back
Hucka Hucka Huckerby 0 Posted November 23, 2006 Eagle is far too lightweight for a central midfield roll. Opposition midfielders would muscle him off the ball & he''s hardly get a touch. Safri would probably then get several yellows & red cards trying to protect him!!
SM 0 Posted November 23, 2006 well when he matures and gets stronger he will be able to, not necesarily now
Syteanric 1 Posted November 23, 2006 Chris sutton was far too scrawny to play as a striker when he first broke into the team too... its amazing what 6 months in a gym can do.jas :)
