lucky green trainers 0 Posted October 30, 2006 PG''s favoured line up is 4-4-2, with players in their own positions.after P. vale and stoke, he''s well out of love with 4-5-1 i''d imagine - while it worked, great - but as we''ve seen, when it doesn''t work, it fails very badly. no shows and heavy defeats are no good for player morale. as for the team selection, if PG acted on backroom advice over his own thoughts, then expect to see changes there - he''ll bring in his own assistant to make sure his voice is heard loudest regarding team selection and tactics. leaving worthy''s backroom team in is a delia fudge recipe , make no mistake - only a dog''s dinners will come of it. just as playing the doc in safri''s role and hoosie on the left wing was mad in hindsight, leaving another managers backroom staff in place is unworkable - you need you own guys in there all with the same mindset - toleration/compromise and fudges will only bring failure. lets hope earnie and hucks are fit for tuesday.
