JJ 0 Posted September 13, 2006 It''s early doors admittedly, but judging from the amount of goals flying in, is this gonna be the sort of season renowned for high scoring and classic games? We have played some sparkling football this season at times (and certainly last night) but have also left ourselves open at the back.Unless my memory serves me wrong, I don''t think its often that our first seven games have thrown up such a glut of goals and extreme results. Winning 5-1, getting stuffed at Coventry, the 3-2 comeback against Luton and then last night''s thriller. Unless its a freak set of results, this could be a year when we have silly scores like 4-3, 5-0, 4-4, etc. Its not good for the nerves and for the soul (as last night proved) but its exciting to watch. We had a season like this under Walker when we finished 3rd in the Premier League and our goal difference ended up negative. We suffered some horrible defeats that season (1-7 at Blackburn, 1-5 at Spurs) but also played some fantastic football. Is this year going to be similar?
