wot no target man!

Recommended Posts

today on a rain sodden surface, with blustery and wet conditions, would be the ideal conditions for a sutton (ewan) type figure to play up front imo.  the crosses pumped in by crofty and hucks on tuesday were largely in the air, where a lone earnie was sandwiched between 2 central defenders.  unless dicko or robinson can join him, earnie looks isolated when we make our breaks. precise passing will be difficult in these weather conditions, but a man up front who can hold the ball up and lay balls off to a hungry earnie would be priceless today - i''d like to see 4-4-2 in these conditions.
