Robbie Boy 0 Posted July 24, 2006 As a regular reader but very infrequent contributor to this board, it is interesting to note the subtle sea-change coming through in recent posts.Yes we all know that Worthy has his faults and we have witnessed some poor ''football'' last season, but what is very concerning is the patent lack of money that we have to spend in the transfer market and how the focus of the disenchanment may now be moving toward the directors.I think it correct that questions are being asked on this board about the lack of questioning by the local media in all of its forms.Other contributors have questioned how we cannot apparently compete with clubs that we rightly view as smaller than ours. I know that geography comes into attracting new players but that didn''t appear to be an issue with Hux, Earnie etc.So why can''t we compete? Why do we appear to have such restricted funds available? Then again, maybe the whole issue is a smoke screen for a couple of major new signings.......................Yeah, right! Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted July 24, 2006 Good point Robbie, and the fact is the Worthy Outers on here would themselves not give Worthy any money were they in charge due to their belief he has badly used that which he had.It is a paradox that the Board should now be the source of their annoyance when the Board is possibly in agreement with them.
