Worthy lectures Hucks!

Recommended Posts

Our manager shows more passion in slating a player for back chat than for our terrible performances of late. Yes you should not talk back to the ref agreed,  but at least Hucks wears his heart on his sleeve. If Nigel has to have a little chat to him why does he not come out and critisise the team when we have been doing so badly.

“I know why he was booked and I won''t stand for that"

But Mr Worthington you will seemingly stand for poor results, even worse performances, a terrible season and a midtable finish with possibly the best squad in the division.

This to me is another case why our manager has his priorities wrong and must be replaced.  He is more concerned with hoofing the ball, lack of skill and hard work than he is with getting us out of this division again. Just because you have done something once does not mean you can repeat the acheivement.

God what must happen for a change to be made is what I find myself asking?  Can any one help me with an answer?

I''m not sure that Worthy having a word with Hucks for back chat is a reason for him to be sacked.

He''s done the right thing in this case. I''m sure if you were a manager their would be things that you would tolerate in terms of yellow and red cards and things you wouldn''t

If your player talks himself into the book, that is simply not acceptable. But you can excuse your player if he gets booked as the result of a tackle. Thats part of the game.

If you talk yourself into a booking, your only one bad challenge away from your team playing with ten men. No Manager/Team/Fans want that.

Yeah, nice line, well done.

The reason for all the hoofball is for the hopelessness of our central midfield.  Tied together by a 10 yard piece of string no more than 10 yards in front of the centre halves.

At least Holt and Damo had different roles and knew what they were.  One of Safri and Robinson has got to cross the half way line every know and again.  One decent pass from Safri from within his own half and one godd block from Robinson on the edge of his own area were all they had to show for Saturday.
