Yellow Rider 0 Posted March 3, 2006 Almost exactly a year ago Shacks came from nowhere straight into the side and stayed for the rest of the season. I have always believed that Worthy did not WANT to play him but was bounced into doing so as he was fast running out of excuses. Tomorrow with Hughes and Safri struggling, will Worthy do the predicatable and put Ethu or Jarrett in with Robinson OR will he pull a rabbbit out of the hat and start with Spillane or Rossi Jarvis?Deep in the Worthy / Smith bunker they are no doubt planning their next line of defence. Worthy to save his job and Smith to save her credibility. To play Spillane or Jarvis would be a ''win / win''.It would dampen down tomorrows protests (after all many fans would think.....''he''s doing what we have all been calling for'')It would improve the atmosphere at the game. Otherwise it is likley to be as poisonous as the Brighton game. No organisation can have that kind of atmosphere at its main base for long without major change occurring. An improved atmosphere raises the chances of a better performance / resultIF that does happen has anything changed? Of course not. It will only serve to prove how weak the Board / Manager is that they have had to be FORCED by the fans into that kind of action. So will a youngster start tomorrow? I have no idea but don''t be surprised!
