Here''s something we could work on, now we''ve got the new facilities...

What about looking to TAKE GOAL-KICKS SHORT to a full back or Safri dropping off; or maybe even a quick throw wide to build an attack with a bit of controlled possession...obviously it will be an unpopular move with lots of us supporters, who like watching aimless high punts to opposing centre-halfs/slices into the stands/scrambles on the halfway line for the ricoched second ball, Peter Thorne unable to win a header in a million years...but I''m sure we would eventually learn to live with it.

Here''s another idea...maybe 1 (or God forbid both) of our centre-midfielders might want to think about making the occasional RUN FORWARD...Further study at the tactics zone might even go on to reveal that this gives extra passing options to the man on the ball in preference to (a) the back pass to the goal keeper from midfield followed by an aimless punt, or (b) the aimless punt...Obviously this idea would need to be explained very slowly and carefully to the likes of Clueless Andy Hughes and Invisible Dixon Etuhu...maybe using a sequence of very simple diagrams and tactile objetcs, like they do in Reception classes...On last night''s performance Andy currently seems to think that his main role in the team is to hide in a zone 2 yards to the right of the centre-back presumably hoping to be pretty much out of sight...
