Norwich City are head and shoulders above all the other teams when it comes to playing ‘the beautiful game’. Converting all the chances created has been the Achilles heel . The only question is whether we will be able to replicate it to good effect next year in the PL. Holding on to Buendia and Cantwell has to be the priority, and a striker that is an equal match to Pukki.
yellowrider120 762 Posted April 5, 2021 I agree with all that you say. However, unlike last season we simply HAVE to 'mix it up' more. Although our passing play can be 'like Brazil' at times, PL defences will be totally clued up this time on how we play. They know that if you shut off Pukki and Buendia (if he's still 'in the building') then that's us done for. We need to see (from time to time) simple (yet brilliant) crosses like this and a centre forward to score a goal like the irritating Sharp. Now that can be Pukki as Sharp barely gets off the floor (he didn't need to as he found the space and our defence was asleep!).
