Jimaldinho 0 Posted February 1, 2006 Just wondered if anyone had seen Didier Agathe had left Celtic. He plays right back or right midfield (believed to be our problem postions) As he is on a free transfer i THINK we could sign him outside the transfer window. But as he plays right side that means we wouldnt even look twice at him! what does everyone else think?
Alex Harvey-Jones 0 Posted February 1, 2006 Don''t know enough about him really to comment but if he plays on the right then he is surely worth a gamble if he would come to Norwich!? He can''t be any worse than the huge numbers of right wingers we have at this club!!! Oh wait a minute..........
E I E I E I O 0 Posted February 1, 2006 Seen him play for them a few times and he looked good. I also asked one of my works colleagues who is a celtic fan and he said he is very powerful. Dont think Worthy would be interested though as he is not young and keen like Johanson.

Morph 31 Posted February 1, 2006 If he is available on a free then I would say pick him up. Every timeI''ve seen them play up here he''s been a useful right sided player tohave in the team. The downside is that he''s 30. So he''s not exactly a young, up andcoming prospect. More like another journeyman footballer with aslightly better pedigree. From: http://www.4thegame.com/club/glasgow-celtic-fc/player-profile/3488/didieragathe.htmlDidier Agathe is the kind of midfielder who likes to get forward, but can also drop back and play a deeper role if required.Since arriving at Parkhead in September 2000, Agathe has played animportant part in Celtic''s successes. He played in all of the ChampionsLeague matches during the 2001/02 campaign, helped the club win theLeague on more than one occasion and played a crucial part in gettingthe Hoops to the UEFA Cup final in 2003. Martin O''Neill opted to play Agathe in anunfamiliar right-back role, which ultimately improved his performancesduring the 2003/04 campaign.
