Record season ticket sales, parachute payment £6m ?, last season in the Pre, record merchandising receipts, hotel bringing in money, Delia''s catering bringing in the bunce. But we have to beg for £50k to bag another journeyman.

Where would we be if it weren''t for the above receipts, I hate to think and I hate to think where we might be if we fail to get out of the Championship pronto, we need another promotion just to stay where we are.  Failing to get promoted in the short term may mean years in the Football League wilderness.  Worthys free transfers and swaps will not improve the team and the wages for the usual umpteen loanees will not be there.
