Ramrod 258 Posted February 23, 2020 The preparations for next season in the Championship should be in full swing by now. If Norwich City have good money lined up for our best young players then fine. We are going to need a lot of new players because we need to clear out a culture of complacency and entitlement which has grown into our squad and the funds will be useful. We also need to increase capacity and financially it will be the right time. Young players are inconsistent, only Aarons for me has shown any consistency and he is best equipped to move on. The rest need much more time but if they want to spend it in another EPL club's U23's that's down to them. I question whether they can knuckle back down here after being overplayed in the Premier League. I would keep Krul, Hanley, Zimmermann, Byram then sell, release and replace. None of our midfield come into the keep category other than those unshiftable on contracts. Then there is Pukki to keep. The loanees can probably all go. In reality we'd be lucky to shift 6 players in total but we need at least 8 new faces. It is about the Club. The Club goes on and very few are missed. Take the money, rebuild on and off the pitch and let's have hungrier players with smaller egos. Nothing to fear from a cull.
