Snake Pit Rebel 0 Posted January 23, 2006 I am some what confused about how much we actually have to know pay Crewe as a result of Ashton''s sale.I was under the impression that we had to pay 20% of any future profit, meaning that would have been 4 million profit and therefore we would have to pat crewe £800,000.Could anyone please clear this matter up for me? Pete Raven 276 Posted January 23, 2006 "£1.5m to Crewe and Ashton himself" so £800K to Crewe and £700k to Ashton?
Snake Pit Rebel 0 Posted January 23, 2006 Cheers Pete.Do you think Worthy will get the 5 and a half mil to re-inforce a shocking looking and performing team that took to the field on Saturday?
Pete Raven 276 Posted January 23, 2006 Well you''d hope that any money made through player sales would be available to buy new players...
Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted January 23, 2006 Don''t resent Crewe anything but it shows how overpaid and compensated players are.
Snake Pit Rebel 0 Posted January 23, 2006 Totally agree mate and feel that ashton has just used us as a stepping stone.Where is the loyalty nowadays? We were the only club to take a risk on him!!
