Krul 6.5: Made an impressive stop low to his right early and some other important stops and interceptions. Question marks over his positioning though for the first goal as he left a huge gap at the near post.

Aarons 6.5: Looked decent again today. He looked assured defensively and his acceleration was useful going forward.

Tettey 6.0: There were a couple of hairy moments in the first half, particularly when he let his man through on goal after some hesitation, but in general acquitted himself well considering he was out of position.

Godfrey 6.0: He made some crucial interventions at times, most notably the double block in first half stoppage time, but ultimately Trossard was his man for the first goal and he let him slip.

Lewis 6.0: Looked pretty solid in general defensively, although the cross for the first goal came from his area. Didn't offer much going forward.

Trybull 5.5: Didn't get involved enough today for me. Not enough work defensively and didn't provide enough protection.

McLean 6.5: Good performance from him today. Made several important tackles and interceptions, was tidy with his passing and covered lots of ground.

Buendia 5.0: Another poor game. Often held on to possession too long and lost the ball when he could've made a pass or took or shot.

Stiepermann 6.5: Maybe being dropped shook him up, because he looked the most lively forward today. He hit the bar with an excellent effort, used his strength to hold up the ball well and bring others into play as well beating his man a few times.

Hernandez 5.0: Maybe he was tired after a hectic and emotional 36 hours, and maybe he was struggling as it was his first start after a long injury layoff. But he wasn't at the races today; he wasn't able to dribble or pass, he completely switched off to allow that goalmouth scramble at the end of the first half and I'm not sure if touched the ball in the Brighton half in the second half. 

Pukki 5.5: He had very little service today and was feeding on scraps. He was hardly involved but his teammates are as much to blame as him for that.
