Ruddy Good 0 Posted January 7, 2006 This whole Worthy front of Ashton staying at the club is a whole load of balls. Its a quip to hide the fact he is off to Man. City for 7.5 million in a few days and Worthy just isn''t prepared to tell the fans yet. Ashton sees us a stepping stone in his career and if anyone has been watching him in the last few weeks they will know he doesn''t really seem to be interested in playing for us anymore. Kent Canary 0 Posted January 7, 2006 Some people do seem disappointed that he HASNT gone, I guess the rumour / doomer speculation mill has more momentum when we really dont know whats going on.The cynics will say this is all a smokescreen anyway, and he''s still going.In fact, we dont know what will happen, as has been said a couple of times all we can do is wait and see.
