1.
As I said, opinion as fact. Neil Lennon has been seen in Norwich. He has stayed in Norwich recently. He would not come down here to negotiate a transfer (of Snodgrass) as that is for others at your club to do. Facts. Live with them.
That rumour has been quashed. He''s in Glasgow. You''re probably right, he wouldn''t be there to negotiate signings. He also certainly wouldn''t be there to see your trophy cabinet.
 2.
To Mr Celtic... You seem to be very confident. Perhaps you are right to be so confident. Then again, if Lennon does come to Norfolk you will end up looking a bit silly. Let''s wait and see.
I know he won''t go. However, if he does go, then well done. Your side has just gotten a proven Champions League manager. He''s ginger, Irish and his name isn''t exotic, but he''s still a Champions League manager.
 3.
We seem to have a resentful, if not spiteful, Celtic supporter on board. He seems to be another one of those who expresses opinion as fact, perhaps in an attempt to convince himself. They were a great set of supporters when they came down here for the last friendly. Those who invade our forum fail to match up to their standards. It is not our fault that the Scottish League has his limitations and that managers like Lennon and players like Hooper eventually aspire to a new challenge. Let''s face it, Norwich City are not even one of the big boys in England but they still entice Celtic''s best. Live with it.
Is Snodgrass better on the right or left? Just wondering how Lennon will start the team for the first Champions League group stage game. I''m thinking Snodgrass Commons Forrest?
 4.

If he gets a team promoted to the prem and keeps them there his stock will be so much higher than going to west brom and getting sacked after 6 months.
Or winning the SPL again, against League One-level opposition, and valiantly failing to get out of a tough Champions League group. Even when Rangers get back in the SPL, they won''t be at Celtic''s level for at least a couple of years. I can see the appeal in heading south now, if I''m honest.
Or being within a couple of points of pipping Barcelona to first place. Rangers won''t be back - they are dead. The Rangers International will enter the SPL for the very first time, however.
 5. He also beat a full strength Liverpool side last pre season. The oldest outfield Celtic player was 22, I believe.
 6.
Please stick around if we do get him.
I''ll stick around when you get some boring English manager like Adam or Sherwood. "Right, boys. We''re playing a 4-4-2 today. Lots of commitment, please. Good luck!" You know, the managers that have no tactical nous? Kinda like when you played football at school - tell you the line up and formation then a wish of good luck, and you''re off.
 7.

No chance.
No chance, what you mean?
You''re not getting Neil Lennon. Give up. It''s not even worth discussing. He is a Champions League manager. As I have said previously on here - just because he''s Irish, ginger and doesn''t have an exotic sounding name, doesn''t take away the fact he is a Champions League manager.
Yes but once them 6 matches are played, he is no better than a conference manager.
He got into the Last 16 18 months ago. I know you English like to sweep that under the carpet, though. Celtic got as far as any English club that year.
 8.
There seem to be a lot of pointers suddenly suggesting that Lennon is the front runner. The same applied to Malky a few days ago though. My personal preference is MM but I feel that Lennon has his strong points and he might well be an inspired decision. Another thing, he might be able to persuade some of his Celtic stars to follow him. Chris Commons, for example, linking up with Gary Hooper would be a strong indicator of a successful first season in the Chumps.
Absolutely no chance Commons will leave Celtic. https://twitter.com/kcommons15/status/373204498728353792/photo/1 And his wife adores Celtic. She travels on Celtic Supporter busses to games sometimes.

 10. If Lennon is in Norwich, it''ll be to discuss the transfers of Snodgrass and potentially Hooper.
 11. So Neil Lennon either drove all the way from Glasgow to Norwich, or had to hire a car himself rather than get taken by Norwich. Right... I know you guys are a championship club, but come on!
 12.
Javier.. Exactly, I was just explaining to our Scottish friend who clearly has no chip on his shoulder, like at all... why so many were against Lennon. It wasn''t a disrespect to their club or Neil himself, we''re nervous about plucking a manager whose entire career has been like managing Spurs in league 1 every year and not winning the JPT most of the time, comparatively. That post was just for his benefit. But i do agree with his assessment of Sherwood and his complete lack of tactical nous and about how we seem to get more excited by someone with a foreign name, he''s damn right there!
I''m not sure if you''re being sarcastic or not, but I definitely don''t have a chip on my shoulder regarding Norwich. I actually like Norwich, I thought the signings of RVW and Hooper were very shrewd bits of business. Now sure what happened with RVW, however. Hooper seems to score when given the chance. As I mentioned earlier, it was the arrogance of some of the Norwich support when you were initially linked with Hooper that annoyed me. That was mainly on Twitter, though.
 13.

I see no reason as to why he can''t take us to the Last 8. Juventus had to cheat their way past us in the Last 16.
I see no reason as to why he can''t take us to the Last 8. i can, because celtic have the quality of a lge1 team.
can u c tht init?
 14.
"We face teams in the group stages that have players that cost more than our whole squad did." Welcome to our world, this is why you will never win the Champions League and we will never win the Premiership. However why you will continue to dominate your league until Rangers catch up with you, in many many seasons time, we do have room to progress, challenge for first promotion and then progression in the PL. I''m not saying Lennon will come but it isn''t as unfeasible as you would have us imagine.
We will catch up with them. Since Lennon became manager we have been signing some top quality young players. The likes of Xavi have already hailed Fraser Forster as world class. We sold Wanyama and replaced him with a better player in Van Dijk (he is a defender, but drives forwards a lot) and Biton also looks like he could become better than Wanyama. We have yet to replace Hooper, but I am certain he will be replaced in the summer. Celtic is a club on the rise.
 15. Enjoy whatever manager you do get, then. I predict it''ll be one that plays a a 4-4-2 with stone age tactics - kind of in the Tim Sherwood mould. Just because his name is "Neil Lennon", he''s Irish and the media make him out to be a thug he''s not good enough. I bet if his name was Nadir Lennchenko and he was from a place like Argentina, you lot would be over the moon at the prospect of him joining. Imagine that? A Champions League manager managing your club.
 16. Those great young players that guided us to the Last 16? We have to go through three qualifying rounds in order to get to the group stages of the Champions League. We face teams in the group stages that have players that cost more than our whole squad did.
 17. If we keep the squad we have and add a good winger and striker I see no reason as to why we couldn''t. Celtic can beat anyone at Celtic Park.
 18. I see no reason as to why he can''t take us to the Last 8. Juventus had to cheat their way past us in the Last 16.
 19. Just shows how good he is. 99 points - that''s fantastic. Every single team in that league ups their game when they face Celtic. They all treat it like a cup final. Mock the league all you want, but the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City think there are players good enough to scout in it.
 20.
I''m sorry, am I seeing things? You are an English Championship side. You''re too good for Neil Lennon? He is a manager that has commented commendably in the Champions League for the last two seasons on a shoestring budget - and your tiny little club is too good for him? What more experience does he need? Managing in the most overrated, overhyped and debt ridden league on the planet? It''s laughable that you guys are even discussing him coming. Why would he give up trophies and Champions League football for a club that is deteriorating? As opposed to staying at a debt free club on the rise, with great young players coming through? I''m sorry if I have came across as disrespectful, but the arrogance some of the Norwich support showed during the Hooper links and now this has really irked me. I look forward to watching Neil Lennon guide us to the Last 16 for the second time in 3 years.
Ignore the "commented" part, not sure how that even got in there.
