1. I have to say that I agree with Keith here and trust me I am no troll. I am hurting just like we all are right now after today, but he is right we DID shoot ourselves in the foot for the umpteenth time this season. Leicester were bang average, their first shot on target came after 70 minutes!! Yes we were game and worked hard, yes we should of got something but the reality is we didnt. Hard luck stories count for nothing at the end of the day.

  2. Although its still going to be very difficult for us to get anything from Leicester, the manner of their defeat today will have surely dented their confidence. They are human after all, so if we can stay in the game long enough, we might just have a chance. Their fans maybe for the first time will be expecting an easy afternoon against us and with that comes pressure on their players to brush us aside. Clutching at straws probably but you never know.

  3. Wes is wasted on the left, he is best playing in behind the striker, he has no pace to be a left winger and as for Howson.. well it begs belief. Totally wasted and offers no cover for the right back, the Spurs game was prime example of that. Olsson should of played today also after a decent showing in midweek, yet once again he gets dropped in favour of another square peg.. Brady.

  4. Down and out mate, Villa are absolute dog sh*te and look at this game. Appalling and embarassing, Neil playing two midfielders as wingers, Mulumbu who looks totally out of his depth should of been hooked at half time, defence static for the first, Rudd messing up for the 2nd. Self-implosions are our speciality it seems.

  5.
This is an attempt of a joke right?
Thats ironic coming from you Alartz, your pathetic negativity and needless ranting is EXACTLY the attitude of "fans" that seem to be infiltrating Carrow Road more and more by the season. Moan moan moan and sit in virtual silence when not moaning. Im not for one minute saying the player''s arent to blame, they were atrocious tonight, but they need the fans big time at the moment and they just arent there.

  6.
...to NOT just let Liverpool walk through the heart of your defence like the parting of the Red Sea. What a novel idea.

Yeah you guessed it, I''m still not over Saturday lol.
Liverpool reverting pretty much back to the type they have been all season. I saw a stat before they played us, apparently their goal tally for this season in the league is the lowest in their top-flight history after 22 games. Another sad indictment on our abysmal defence.

  7.
I''m a season ticket holder and have been for many years, I''m always looking at the bench during breaks in play, and one thing I''ve noticed is that when we are winning or its level there seems to be plenty of shouting and instructions from AN and his team. Yet when it goes wrong and we are under pressure and the whole of the ground can smell a goal against coming, or indeed we go a goal behind, the instructions stop. There''s lots of little mini chats between AN, FM and GH but they all seem a bit clueless. I know some people might read this and automatically remind me of Bournmouth away last season, but in general we do seem to have a lack of leadership from the touchline when it''s going wrong. I wonder if One of AN''s biggest mistakes is not having a proven PL assistant or coach in his backroom team. I know the Martin selection on paper looks like a bad decision yesterday, but I also thought the introduction of Jarvis was a bad choice too. We were being attacked down both flanks with both full backs having mixed fortunes, and Jarvis was never going to help that situation.
There is a lack of leadership both on the pitch and on the sidelines, your observations are spot on. I have the greatest respect for what AN has done in getting us up and there is no doubting he has talent and is as honest as they come, but his inexperience at times is seriously telling, espiecally in the moments where we are struggling. He is learning but at what cost in the season''s end?

  8.
I''ve slept on it and can''t really say I feel any better about it. I''ve read all the excuses and tried to find a positive but I still feel like a giant hand has reached inside me and pulled my guts out.
Feel exactly the same Ricardo. I was at the game, the feeling of utter dejection at the end was palpable. A friend of mine brought his young daughter and she was in tear''s, I was doing well not to shed a few myself if im honest. I pray the players can somehow pick themselves back up and go again, but its going to be a tough ask.

  9.
They are speaking very, very enthusiastically about him now on SSN, saying he is absolutely perfect for us.
This ^^. I think not only will he bring that much needed genuine Prem quality and finally a genuine No 10, but he seems a real competitor and at the age of 29 could be a real leader on the pitch which we clearly are lacking and have been for some time.

  10. Yep exactly. I remember we lost at home to Stoke and although we still sat 2nd in the league, O''Neill wanted to strengthen the squad but Chase said no and Martin pretty much told him where he could stick his job.. days later he was at Leicester.. the rest is history.

  11. Morty, im not siding with either of you. I read all of it, yeah you asked him a question, but given the previous thats gone on before between you, he probably was going to take it the wrong way. Not saying thats your fault but thats how far its gone which Im sure you know already, maybe best to let sleeping dogs lie and all that.

Anyway as for the match, extremely disappointing all round. We just seemed to lack fight, looked lacklustre and the lack of creativity at times is pretty galling.

  12.
Oh for heaven''s sake both of you put the handbags away. It''s on every single thread and it''s all rather embarrassing to watch.
This ^^. Morty, LDC, i actually think you both contribute good quality posts and opinions on here, so why the need for the constant sniping back and forth? You dont have much time for each other, we get it, so why waste time? All very playground-ish.
