Garcia would clearly be the better shout as he is a foreigner and sound right exotic don''t he?I''m not sure how the Pink''Un would cope though, I can''t see where it''s easy to slip an unnecessary extra letter into his name like you can with Malkay and Houghton.Warknock would be another option, Addams too, but Garcia? Just doesn''t work. -
Brilliant!!!Most of the posters on here would love that, loads of goals, winning games, brilliant!!!Apart from the ones that wouldn''t renew their season tickets in protest, they''d be angry, not as angry as they''d be if we got back to the ticketless top-flight in two years again...Brilliant!!! -
Oh good, another thread on pretty much exactly the same subject. The subject of course being, Wiz behaving like a massive fanny.
A wizards sleeve, if you will. -

Not sure what hes actually achieved, to warrant being linked to us, im pretty sure he wouldnt be mentioned without havin NCFC connections 1 name i am surprised never seems to be linked is steve evans currently at Rotherham, Has a good consistent record of promotions /success at his 3-4 clubs hes managed, i know he can be a bit love or hate and will upset people but maybe thats what we need. We need someone that wants to make the next step up, and wont let anyone at the club slacken or be passengers
Are you serious ?......Boston United, Crawley. Rotherham !!!!!Â
I really think are sights are slightly higher don''t you ?
Livingston, Wycombe, Colchester....If we find the "right" man that should be all that matters...;-) -
Whilst still an attractive proposition, we''re probably no different to a lot of championship clubs now. Think this might well have been a very different selection process were we still a Premier League club. Things in our favour are that we have parachute payments and club is free of external debt. Already have a squad of very good players, with (if DM is to be believed) no financial or contractual pressure to sell, so new manager can within reason pick and choose who he keeps and brings in. Think we would have significant muscle in the transfer market and moreso if we make a few player sales. But we''re not going to be attracting interest from all over Europe like we might if we were still in the PL.
I think there are only a few names and that none of them are particularly ambitious. Just hope that the club have taken on board the fans reactions over the last few years and appoint someone who plays aggressive attacking football rather than the anti-football we''ve been subjected to
The type of football is irrelevant - it''s winning that keeps the fans on side.
Must have missed his success at Derby but a very very nice man Oh like Hughton!
And Neil Adams -
A motivator like Neil Adams? Who managed to motivate a massive 1 point and 2 goals from 5 games? He wasn''t left with an easy task but let''s not dress it up like he made a jot of difference. He played the same way as Hughton, just with worse results. It WAS a tough run of fixtures but that''s the long and the short of it I''m afraid. -
There''s a fair chance he''ll miss the post -
If he doesn''t win his first game God help him and McNally and friends.
He lost 0-1 to Fulham.
Coincidentally Waveney your post count matches your IQ.
Ever increasing?Doubtful, I''d suggest. -
Exotic sounding name, should get a general thumbs up then. -
Clearly, it should be ''Malky Oot''. -
Today summed up his season perfectly. Lots of huff and puff, but absolutely no end product. Twice in the first half he managed to find no-one when in a great position down the right. Second half he bottled the one on one with the keeper and then when we had a three on three tried to beat his man when he should have played the simple ball. You can''t fault his effort, but it''s all about Robert Snodgrass. We need eleven team players and unfortunately Snodgrass isn''t ever going to be one of those.Hopefully he''ll get his move to Celtic, be with his family and NCFC will be a better place without him.
Spot on.Hughton Out. -

TBH, Brown and Saunders are my 2nd and 3rd choices respectively. My 1st choice would be John Bond, but very sadly he has died. [:(]
I think that''s unfair and in rather poor taste TBH. I''ll whisper it in case you missed it - *HE''S GONE - GET OVER IT!!*
You an EXPERT on taste ye Gods!
Talking of taste ,do you still have that signed photograph of you with Kevin Drinkel?
Pardon?*Drinkell* - two l''s but Eh? Maybe you''re ill or something, that might excuse it, but I don''t know you. It''s kind of unnerving to see that you think that you know me but I think you''re mistaken. I don''t have any photographs of players that are signed or otherwise. Are you Cagney or Lacey? Can''t remember which one wore the manky green cords.... -
Yep.Wiz and Rudolph Hucker are the match mascots, Nutty Nigel is a ball boy and Delia is racing Mike WJ in the hamster wheels at half time. -

I''d take 21st now. -
So, it''s a dead rubber.Oh no! Cry some, we can still be relegated in a higher position. But, it is really, isn''t it.I bet the Chelsea performance will ensure our failed players get lots of undeserved appreciation.I just wonder whether supporters will voice their disapproval of the failure of the Board and former manager. I bet they don''t. They have been mollified and will sit politely and applaud.I expect a forelock tugging full house.
But you were never going, were you?You are just going to do exactly the same as you do for every other game - sit at home. How is that a protest? If you''d made the effort to actually go to a game, perhaps the board would have sat up and taken notice...*nudge, nudge*"What Michael?""Rudolph Hucker off of that there Pink''Un Messageboard is here!!!""Christ on a bike!!! Does DM know? The natives are clearly unhappy..."Instead, you just do what you always do and then have the audacity to criticise those that go to every game for doing what they always do.I don''t think it''s your forelock you spend your time tugging. -
Chris Hughton is out of work or perhaps Nigel Worthington if we''re looking for someone upwardly mobile? -
If we hadn''t have lost that game, Hughton would still be here.

I wouldn''t read the Sunderland board folks. We have a lovely ''supporter'' by the name of ''Canary Dave'' praying for a Sunderland win, and saying he''ll be doing a jig or something if we get relegated. What a complete oddball. Perhaps he''s desperate to become popular or something.Praying for that win tonight. If it goes to the last day you can be absolutely guaranteed that Sunderland will be a very nervous team whereas that bit of light at the end of the tunnel would give our players and supporters alike one hell of a boost. Should be noted that WBA are what Fulham are to us - a bogey team. The last 9 games read WBA 8 wins and 1 draw. Also, Swansea are pretty decent away from home and do have Wilfried Bony who we all know is fairly good at sticking it in the back of the net.Gonna be a bit tense tonight for us, but let''s keep those fingers crossed for a bit of karma after all this ineligible player business.OTBWBA!
Hmmm, do we know anyone called Dave, who is a massive troll?Who likes to post on rival teams forums?*scratches chin*
Wouldn''t he have a bit of trouble doing the jig though? -

They''ll probably add another star above their donkey for it. Tin. Pot. Still apart from fiddling their sisters they don''t get a lot of excitement these days. I''m almost embarrassed for them.
Pot Kettle Black. Ipswich won the old First Division. Norwich have consistently failed to establish themselves as a top flight team. And then there''s the FA and UEFA Cups that Norwich have never come close to winning.
I imagine everyone will be rushing out of the stadium to post on here how grateful they are to Chris Hughton for the 32 points he achieved that paved the way to survival..[:|]
