World Cup in the Summer and already some players are going to miss out because of injury.
Makes you wonder how committed to the tackle some will be come April/May
Hopefully the title and top four places will be sewn up come the last four games and oppo players will be thinking of Brazil
Do you not believe in 2nd chances then Phil (or Ted)?
Also pretty sure he was suffering from mental illness for a good chunk of this part of his life.
I think his second chance was at ABC, third chance at Radio 5 and Talksport his fourth chance.
Celebrities and personalities get extra chances, had he been Joe public then I doubt he would have got a second chance after all the scrapes he has been in..
I just think its a bit rich complaining about someone doing something to you when you have done it to others.
Im not condoning the abuse he is getting but calling the penalty an F###ing disgrace on Twitter and ranting about it on Talksport he was bound to bring the haters out.
Honestly, what did he expect to happen?
I think those that racially abused him and threatened him are in the wrong but he must have known he would get a backlash.

I agree Stan, those who spout death threats should face the full force of the law.

I did bring up some of Mr Collymores ( all published in the national press) past miss demeanors but they have been deleted.
I in no way endorse or support the threats or racial abuse he has been getting on twitter.
However a Google search of Mr Collymore is interesting.

A one footed player with no pace, that cant shoot, head or tackle, thats a toughie. -
Cannot afford to buy him and cannot afford to build a team around a loan player -
Man Utd, Man Utd U21`s and Man Utd U18`s, in fact anyone that wears a red shirt.

10 attacking options in Elmander, Hooper, RVW, Becchio, Redmond, Jonas, Snoddy, Pilks, Murphy and Hoolahan.
Realistically he can only put 4 of them on the pitch.
What are the odds that he will pick the four players that you want and play them in the position you want?
Im not a bookie but the odds are 6 to 4 x 6 to 3 x 6 to 2 x 6 to 1 and the positional options on top of that
Thats a whole lot of options and whoever he does or does not pick will upset some supporters.

When the other bottom teams play each other do we need to hope for the draw and one point each or that 3 teams will be marooned by losing to others in the bottom half?
I know you cant effect other teams results but we all look at the goal flashes coming in and wonder how that effects us.

Cant argue with the ratings, everyone put a shift in but nobody produced a stand out moment.
Always that one pinpoint pass or cross away from a clear cut chance.
Is it me or do we never get that lucky bounce or deflection in the box?
Whenever the opposition cross, it clip someones heel and lands at the feet of their cente forward.

IMO Our formation I too static and playing two wide men is not working, it hasn''t worked for a top side since the 1970`s. How about a 4-1-2-3 formation with a holding midfielder and a fluid front 3? I think Redmond is wasted on the wing, he has pace, quick feet and can pick a pass, let him get more involved in the oppo half. I don''t go along with all the "he`s inexperienced" chat, he has been playing football through the ranks since an early age, just let him play. -
Just joined the forum looking for some healthy debate and to see a range of opinions on all things Norwich. Unfortunately every thread is hijacked by a few who carry out Ad Hominem attacks on each other. Disappointing
I''m actually very happy that he isnt on Twitter or in the media spouting some insincere or spun statements, giving the Manager his backing or whatever.........my view is he is being particularly professional right now and will, as many of us are sure, make the right decision at the right time for the good of our great club, all backed up by actually KNOWING the bigger picture and understanding exactly where the club is against it''s long term plan and how it will achieve going forward...
Mourinho Madness
in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Posted
Chelsea have around 20 players out on loan, a total of £150 million worth of talent.
As a club they are using (and abusing) the system better than anyone by effectively having 40 players in their squad.
Madness or genius?
Have to say genius as they have the financial clout to make use of the system
As Norwich I would have Torres and Mata, as JM who knows how his football brain ticks?
