    Fair enough Paul, Its been too long a season for me to remember those that werent keen on him.

    As for entertained, I agree and god have i been bored at times this season, but the brief to Hughton was to make sure we stay up to collect the golden pot at the end of the rainbow.

    If we fail to do that then we will see if Mr Mc is good as they say he is.

    I dont think an improved contract would make any difference, as we have said none of us know what was offered.

    What we do know was that lambert had itchy feet, you felt he already had the Villa job before the final game of the season (heck even the villa fans knew it) and quite frankly he wanted out anyway.

    As for Hughton, Newcastle record does not show ultra cautious manager and a VAST majority were happy with the appointment when it happened. However what has disappointed is his tactics at times but (and not that this helps) we have been so close so many times. If we stay up then I would like to think we will see a very different approach next year.

    Holloway would have entertain but we would be long gone by now.

    For what it is worth My scapegoat, a lot of officials we had this season, normally I accept these balance themselves out but this year had almost boardered on bent. Even as recent Villa who should have been down to NINE on saturday.

    I agree sacked, all Im saying is it would be nice to at least acknowledge the situation we are in and offer whatever he can to help.

    He might be told to bugger off for all we know but I am sure he is buzzing right now and I think that wouldnt go amiss tomorrow on the training ground.

    and I agree about the Telegraph, year too late but ....

    Well, I would like to think that he is heading back here ready for training in the morning to help the Forwards get a few tips where the net is.

    Reading his tweets (without hardly mentionly his parent club) looks like he is going on holiday and he thinks he can put his feet up. Considering we have probably paid most of his wages this season and last season when he was injured be nice to get a little something back.

    In terms of unsettled, yes sounds that way but couldnt be much fun being injured for such long periods and your are homesick.

    He will be gone in the summer, pity as at least we know he can score in the championship !!

    Poor ref (again) 2 ways to look at it, Bennett should have been long gone before but then he wouldnt have been on the pitch for us to get the Pen.

    As for not making any difference, them down to 10 men creates gaps, knowing Lambert he would have made them pay 3 at the back in order to push for the result (did with us a couple of times) which again cretaes gaps and space at the back.

    The final cross was a big problem yesterday, think every corner was straight in the keepers hands. One time he got caught out was when Holtys header was just wide.

    I have no idea why they didnt show it on MOTD Benteke should have gone off, also he would have missed rest of season, that was a big desision buggered.

    The other thing I wanted to see was the Offside in the 1sthalf, Radio Norfolk made it clear and I thought at the time it wasnt, and would have the BBC have shown all the Bennett fouls had CH not brought it up in the interview ?

    Not Ref''s fault...look at it this way a Throat grab is straight Red and 3 match ban. We dont know if they would have got the 2nd when down to 10 men (and should be 9) but unlikely.

    Villa going into the final 2 games needing to get points and without their main goalscorer.

    They is a good few point we havent got through very poor officials thing how different those tactic would have been with a few of those going our way.

    The reason we lost today was 2 players let a villa player run straight through the middle unchallenged, in fact bit like last season !

    depends which or the Burger vans you eat from , one near the Health Club always look a bit dodg.... Oh sorry thought you meant ... oh never mind, depends if you mean the players of the fans.

    If the players then yes, if you meant most of FCR this afternoon with Wigan winning and us losing (which I dont think will happen by the way) then Boots next door will have sold out of Adult Nappies.

    Sunderland to score at least 6

    Benteke to get sent off for violent and get 10 match ban.

    Lambert to get sent off with a touchline ban for fighting Di Canio for doing a knee slide in front of the Villa dugout for the 3rd goal, that way lambo cant do his jig and fist punching IF they score.

    Guzan to get sent off for pro-foul (with violent to get 3 match ban) leading to a Pen for Sunderland''s 6th.

    That the 1st half taken care of.

    If the signal around FCR wasnt so bad I would watch sky-go tonight but the biggest cheer of the night could be at half time when the scoreboard flashed the halftime score of Villa 0 sunderland 6

    Think you know what I want to happen in the 2nd half.

    Seriously though, I hope that Villa dont win and that the news of how they are doing wont affect what we are there for tonight and that is to support the Young Uns
