  1. I would presume that an Official Villa approach would have to be made to trigger any release clause.

IF PL asked to speak to them before any Official approach had been made then we would have been in our rights to refuse.

DM used the words "Proper Channels"concerning ChrissyH which could have been a little pop at Villa.I cant recall confirmation that there was an Official Villa approach, all I recall is Villa Fans being pretty certain in April he was going there.

Anyway at the end of the day we dont know what the hell was in the contract !

  2. "He could (and I hope this is true) have deleted it as he keeps getting himself in trouble for retweeting certain tweets"

Ive said for weeks, someone needs to take his phone away from him. Pointless deleting an account unless you never plan to come back on though. Maybe CH has asked him to stop at least while they talk (if GH even wants to that is).

  3. These thinks should always happen behind closed doors unless of course you want to try to manipulate. It was Holt/Agent who bought this in the open so who is trying to manipulate. More to the point, is Holt been advised to do these things by LP.

If you choose to go on Twitter, fine, but with that come responsibility. Think before you push that send button, look to see if there is a #tag and dont comment on confidential contractual information. Holty/Agent have ignored all that.

Like I said couple of weeks ago, someone should have take Holty''s phone off him, cut off his broadband and stopped him from going near an internet cafe.

The carp about "my own views" doesnt give you the right to say and do as you like. The bloke who hurled racial abuse at the 2 Ashleys doesnt have a right to do that just because it is his own warped view. You would get arrested if you did it in the street and tweeting is just the same as doing just that.

You have a very limited amount of characters to use with twitter and getting a point over can be difficult. If you cant. Dont. Simples

I think NCFC have handled this very well, they have been baited, accused, and bullied into having to make comments which they shouldnt have. The club has made it clear how they go about renewing contracts and from what I can see done it very well.

Of course you have to sort out players without contracts 1st.Those players become unemployed with no wages coming in (I wont go into if they actually be the pauper like Zak W claims...) What gives someone who has the security of income for another 2 years over the rights of those players.

Now maybe we can all stop worrying and allow our new very able manager do what he can to sort this mess out. Either way CH will have my 100% backing to make the right decision for NCFC

  4. My first thought on Sunday night, he messed up big time, was it after that one or another miss that Holt took over the Pel taking ?

I totally agree, all very calm and clever, but what if he did miss, all the pressure was back on the team mates. Obviously what we dont know is what Mario B knows about Hart in training and what he passed on. Hart does seem quick to commit.

  5. To be honest, if Holty decides that the most important meeting of his career can go ahead without him I would be surprised. However he hasnt let us down on the Suurrrprise stakes in the past few weeks has he.

If I was ChrissyH I would refuse to meet the agent solo, they have made their bed so there is nothing to add except from the horses mouth.

  6. Angry ..No

    Disappointed..Yes

Disappointed he left in the manner he did,

Disappointed he didnt want to see just how far he could take us.

And disappointed he wont give the real reasons why...(think we know those)

As for his welcome back. LDC summed it up in a different thread. 30 Seconds of applause for what he did, followed by 90 minutes+ of abuse like we give every visiting manager when they come to FCR.

Maybe he knew WE had gone as far as we could with HIM, and WE needed someone different to push us to the next level !

  7. We all have to thank PL for what he did, and calling him stupid names just shows how fickle and pathetic some "supporters" are.

    Disappointed..yes .Hate him ..no !

I believe he was better than Villa and feel he left us with unfinished business on what he really could have achieved.

Chris has inherited a great squad of players just as Walker did from Dave Stringer and hope that he able to push them to the next level from the quite remarkable achievements over the past 3 years.

If Holty can sit down and have a sensible conversation with Chrissy H even better.

Its the beginning or a new era and exciting times again for next year.

As for PL, thanks for the great times and I wish you well except when you play against us of course.

  8. I would imagine that a vast majority of Fans would love Ian and Gary to stay and for many reasons including messing up PL''s plans.

Until the Players get back and CH comes back off holiday not a lot going on anyway.

IF (and I still hope IF) they want to join PL then Villa know what to do unless of course the Chief Exec doesnt understand the whole "rolling rollin contract" thingy like some Villa fans.

  9. Hi Villan

I am sure PL with do a good job for you, Ive always had soft spot for Villa but I do find the whole trying to get Lambert on the cheap a little distasteful.

I am sure this deal was nodded and winked several weeks before the end of the season and feel that Paul Faulkner should act like the gentleman his Norwich School educational would had given him !

If you paid a mill you are getting a bargain, absolute bargain. none of us know the full ins and out of the contract but that will all come out at a tribunal as and when. If Im honest we got PL in similar circumstances and paid heavily for it .I would just pay up so you dont have a suspended sentence hanging over you when you need to Tap up your next manager in 2-3 years time.

I dont know if size the fine and compo was relative to the League we were in but whatever way you look at it PL stock has risen greatly since then and could end up costing Villa far more.

We still hold a trump card(s) that quite frankly Villa need. PL has a hell of a lot work on his hands.

I would be happy for villa to survive another year in the PL (well they cant afford to go down can they?) as long as we finish above you.
