  1. Hi everyone, cheers to Nutty for the build-up (must not blow the run, must not blow the run) and thanks for the opportunity to pick this week''s match bet. I''ll be looking to post the selection late afternoon on Friday so fire your suggestions in!!!

I''m an exiled City fan up here in Scotland (hence quite a few Scottish suggestions, local team Stirling Albion - they are utter garbage), so this week I''m North of the Border again for another top vs. bottom clash. I''m going with Ayr United (Home win) vs. Airdrieonians in Scottish League 1.

For the match bet I''m being tempted by a Blackpool red card (anytime) and looking forward to hearing all your excellent suggestions!

All the best and happy hunting PUPs!

  2. Greetings PUPs from the battleground of Scotia!

I hope there''s no closet Cowdenbeath (a.k.a. ''The Blue Brazil'') fans out there, as after Hibs snatching a 94th minute winner for me against them last week I''m going for Hearts to complete an Edinburgh double this week (Hearts top, Cowden bottom).

    Hearts (home win) vs. Cowdenbeath.

For the match bet I''ll go for Grabbs to break his goal drought in a Home win for city.

All the best and good luck for the weekend!!!

  3. Hi everyone, I''m going to agree with JB''s choice of Rangers vs Dumbarton (home win). This match has a certain City flavour as two of the worst players ever to pull on the famous shirt are involved...Steven Smith (currently playing for Rangers) and Ian Murray (currently manager of Dumbarton)...living in Scotland I sadly know such things!!!

For the City bet I''m going to go for Bradley "Pirlo" Johnson to make it a hat-trick of goals in games and score anytime.

All the best and good luck to the PUPs and COME ON CITY on Saturday!!!

  4. Nope, been in Scotland for 20 odd years and never considered it. I do get along to some games just out of general interest, Yesterday i was at Stirling Albion vs. Hibernian...Hibs currently have Owain Tudur-Jones (not improved) and Michael Nelson (was an unsued sub) playing for them.
