  1. Parkes Clement Gillard Hollins McLintock Webb Thomas Francis Masson Bowles Givens I was there.
  2. Well the stadium only holds 18000. Or to put it another way, you can only beat your next opponent.
  3. Yes I saw them play. My first match was in the early 70''s. Went home and away to every match in 1975/76 when Liverpool pipped us. Only got beaten up once (Old Trafford!) Don Rogers was just a year or two prior to that line up.
  4. Phil Parkes Dave Clement Ian Gillard John Hollins Frank McLintock Dave Webb Dave Thomas Gerry Francis Don Masson Stan Bowles Don Givens Manager: Dave Sexton Tha CLASSIC QPR Team. And this lot are probably playing better than them.
  5. Played for Scotland vs Czech at the weekend. Came on v Spain on Tuesday. Is the O/P a serious question?
  6. Sheffield United said QPR were nothing special. Got beat 3-0 at their place. Ipswich said QPR were nothing special. Got beat 3-0 at their place. Leicester said QPR were nothing special. Got beat 2-0 at their place. Palace said QPR were nothing special. Got beat 2-1 at their place. Norwich are now saying QPR are nothing special.................

  8. Well, up front we''ve signed Rob Hulse who has not got a game yet recovering from an Achilles injury. Our bench is full of players who were playing in the first team last season plus Tommy Smith. We have cover for every position. We are a MUCH better squad than last year.
  9. Got a feeling this is our year. Warnock has steadied the ship since he arrived and made some great signings. Mackie is a handful as is Taarabt on his day. Defence looks solid as a rock. Honestly believe we will go up as champions, Norwich 2nd. Fancy Burnley, Ipswich, Cardiff and possibly Reading for the play-offs
  10. Central Line:- Liverpool Street Bank St Pauls Chancery Lane Holborn Tottenham Court Road Oxford Circus Bond Street Marble Arch Lancaster Gate Queensway Notting Hill Gate Holland Park Shepherds Bush (don''t get off) White City 14 stops.
  11. No, was just trying to give you guys (especially those who may not have been to QPR before) a few handy tips. You know, trying to be helpful?
  12. Hi folks. Really looking forward to Saturday, should be a great atmosphere at Loftus Road with 3,000 of your lot in the School End. Some travel advice:- Parking - try the roads off the Uxbridge Road west of The Adelaide pub - free, and normally plenty of room if you arrive early enough. Pubs - The Springbok in South Africa Road is strictly off limits but any of the pubs around Shepherds Bush Green will be fine. Underground - White City, and Wood Lane are walking distance and Shepherds Bush Overground is the far end of the Green. I think this will be a high scoring match and I fully expect we will lose our "no goals conceded at home" tag. Having said that, our midfield is packed with talent so expect an aerial bombardment from us as well! All the best, enjoy the game, and best of luck for the rest of the season.
