think it was Gary Nevile who said at Man utd they did ball work only by this time of the season
only people coming back to fitness need to get fit the others who have been playing are fit enough and need recovery time

This was their Big Day they were top of the table best chance of beating us for years and we beat them Fantastic ,
3 points taken from their promotion push it just gets better

Very Very good Performance !!!!

I Think the hold up might be to do with the loans instead of buying outright cash by MA ,
i imagine the FA or someone are taking their time to make sure all the small print is in order as it is more complicated ,
also due to their advanced years if MA is paying over a Loans /Instalments it has to be water tight both ways if anything was to happen to either during the deal must be a law minefield

That means Duffy has to start really with Gibbo. You can't play McLean there as Moore will just put himself up against McLean.
I hate watching Duffy and Gibbo playing out from the back.
i would still play Kenny , if Moore played i would then say Duffy man mark Moore , Kenny drop little deeper for flick ons and second balls bit of a sweeper in a CB two , if they played one up top that is

We looked like the team out of form lacking Confidence not leicester
yes they had better players but they had better players against QPR and Bristol and any team that had beaten then recently
we were the team full of confidence with the good form and we played terrible ,
-
Mckenna has got a team performing together very much above their individual levels ,
very much like Lambert but the next job will be the hardest as he will not have that team unit ,
ipswich have signed players for a role in the team instead of just individuals to fill a gap ,
his next job it will take time to get that the same as he has at Ipswich and big clubs do not give you the same time

If we play our game and Kenny as CB i think we have a chance ,
we can not play as bad as yesterday so hopefully got that out of our system ,
Wagner has to go back to the tactics pushing teams back and attacking
-
Our Performance was worrying if it was a one off then fair enough but if players think they can Perform like that next week we will be in trouble
-
If Wagner had stuck to the tactics that had got us on this fine recent run and into the play offs today might have been a different score
why over complicate it and make us sit deep defend a lead etc we should have been up and at them they were the fragile ones ,
we got the perfect start we should of bullied them and the fans would have turned

I think you would
and say “ standard of local Sunday football is appalling these days “

I've been a critic of Wagner's subs but I can see why he's not made changes earlier, there wasn't a Nunez or an Onel sitting on the bench who could radically have changed our approach to the game, the kids best for the last 15-20 minutes to see if one can conjure something up, or at least look promising to give the away fans something to cheer about on the way home.
oh i agree i was talking about when it was 2-1 sorry got wrong end of stick !!

2 minutes ago, JonnyJonnyRowe said:I would have wanted to leave the bunch of dregs and children on our bench for as long as possible too, we had absolutely nobody on the bench that could cause Leicester any issues or create anything at all for Sargent. Possible exception being Fasshnact finding a spawny goal, but he was our one card really.
i think you have to try , 1st teamer having a mare does not mean a kid could come on and play better

1 minute ago, Dean Coneys boots said:Didn’t have to play so very negatively- that allowed them to attack - which they are good at- and took the focus and pressure of their defence- which has been questionable- really bad tactical approach.
exactly we have a Striker and danger man in Sarge who is fine form you have to put pressure on
yet we are relying on out weakest link Defence by sitting back
-
we will play better now and attack but it will be to late and they will pick us off on counter with Vardy to come on

i am worried about the pace and quality leicester have with the two CB's we have but we are good going forward will be tight but i think leicester will win
having said that the Form we are in compared to them two horse race 4 /1 i would have a cheeky 100 on if i was near a betting shop
you rarely get odds that high in a football match and we have better form
-
Sorensen and Gibson i think will be exposed by the pace today i feel hope i am wrong ,
-
i wonder what the problem is with Sarge ( still no stopping him scoring )
taking quite a while to get to full fitness and still carrying that injury ,
it has not healed 100 % i imagine he might need a small cleaning up op at the end of season ?
very brave and good on him for playing when not 100 % right
-
Sainz is what Webber was good at Free / cheaper players finding diamonds
give him money and his success rate went down ,
Sainz is a far more suited to English football than Tzolis or Rashica

i agree i doubt i would be jumping at the chance ,
Massive club but poor league , unless he wants silverware and to play in European cups ,
he might get that at a English club if he plays well and gets a move

3 minutes ago, hogesar said:It would suggest to me the rumoured interest from other clubs isn't as concrete as is being made out.
I imagine a year away he is a year older / different manager here
might be a very small chance he might want to give it another go ?
I think he will stay in Germany 🇩🇪 seems more suited to the league maybe very happy living there but you never know how he feels personally
