I'm in the dark on this one.......

.....remember, the last time they expanded, they went into administration and took twenty years to recover....... fingers crossed 🤞

Well done, you used the word fight to describe a Frenchman...... history tells us that's never a good mix.....

If we lose, the record is set, the longest unbeaten run in our derby history. It will not be beaten, certainly not in my lifetime.
They will, of course jump, immediately, to achievements in the last Century, so long ago that most of their fans weren't there or were too young to remember.
...... if we don't lose, the run continues......

Congratulations to West Ham, who have achieved a new British record by going 17 consecutive games in Europe undefeated.....
.... I'd just like to point out that we've not lost a competitive game in Europe since 1993.....
Just saying 😌....

Yep, Harold man marked Tostig but took one in the eye from William......
Now, back to the football......

Agreed...... however, we all know that Everton will be toilet right up till the end of April, then put an inexplicable run of results together to survive by the skin of their teeth...... AGAIN! 🤬

Just another breakdown in morals
..... I'm old fashioned too...... and I've got a mouth like a sailor.
It's called letting off steam, like the punch ups back in the 70s but without the hospital visit...

22 hours ago, Creedence Clearwater Couto said:“Mid table in the prem” that would be awful to see. As for it being their “ceiling” I’m struggling how that could be expressed in a negative way?
..... mid table in the Premiership would put them alongside other Championship Clubs financed externally, like Brighton and Palace. Like Bournemouth and Watford, it's only a matter of time before it goes t#ts up.
Their investors are looking for a return and will be looking to cash in once the Premiership has been achieved, who'll buy a Club with no assets?.....
League One beckons........

They've gone with modern thinking for an average Club, find a sponsor to plough a load of money in, buy your way to promotion and repeat.
Interestingly, they were struggling to attract 14,000 through the gate 2 years ago, suddenly, it's double that, plastic Club, plastic fans.
It's possible that they could make mid table in the Prem over the next few years but that's their ceiling.
They'd better hope their investors don't cut and run, or they could very well end up back in League One......... fingers crossed 🤞

But that wasn't good enough. I get it, we sucked in the prem. But I wouldn't have sacked him...
...... not sure I agree with your first comment, I think we've been promoted 10 times in my lifetime, that's once every 5 years, I guess we don't have the same idea of 'commonplace'

No such thing as a friendly against the auld enemy...... but it clearly means more to them than us.

53 for me, the year before Promotion.... though by that time my family had moved me to London, that was when I realised there could only ever be 1 Team for me.
My brother became a Hammer..... but deep down he's jealous of my loyalty, call me old fashioned (guilty) but I still think you should support the Team where you're from.
Anyone can jump on board the Man City train and claim glory every Season but it's boring after a while, especially if you have nothing that identifies you with them.
......we haven't won a great deal across our history but when we do, it's special, really special.....

....... it'll be overtaken by Women's football within 10 years....
Problem is, there are so few contenders in the sport that it's hardly a competition at all. 10th tournament, only 4 winners and, I think only 5 finalists. Both France and NZ will qualify for the knock outs...... that's when the tournament starts.

..... said it when it was first mooted, of course the elite Clubs would benefit, any changes made are to their advantage. They generate most of the money and the interested parties wouldn't want to rock the boat.
The pyramid is reaching a financial point, it's only a matter of time before the European Super League raises its ugly head again......

What do you think to my idea of the women splitting from the men's game? Don't have men involved what so ever? Women should run their own game.

.... yep, you've nailed this haven't you?..... 2 years ago they were a bang average 3rd Division side, struggling to get 14,000 through the gate..... Then the money arrived, allowing them to buy their way up ( behind Plymouth 🤣) and suddenly all the 'die hards' have flocked back, plastic Club, with plastic fans.
It's like saying that you have to 'respect the job' Pep has done at Citeh with the resources at his disposal.

.... sign of the times, how many academy players are starting in the Premiership?.... money dictates that Clubs just buy in ready made talent..... the fact that we don't have any money, tells you everything you need to know about why we're not competitive....
