  1. While it could be argued that Bielsa has done nothing illegal in this instance, Dave Carolan, interviewed on Pink Un.com stated that in their opening game of the season, Stoke complained that there were recognized 'coaches ' in the crowd feeding information while the game was in play. That IS illegal and if the authorities take it into consideration, they're unlikely to be so charitable when it comes to issuing punishments.

Worth taking what Karsa says with a pinch of salt.

He was sacked from Villa due to bullying young players and other staff memebers. Paul Lambert supported removing him due to the behaviour reported in an internal investigation. Ian Culverhouse was also sacked for this reason.

There is quite a lot of bad blood between Lambert and Karsa/Culverhouse.

The interviewers try to make out that Karsa’s role was similar to Webber, but the fundamental difference is that Karsa reported to Lambert whereas Farke reports to Webber.

Smacks a little of Lambert blaming others when things start to go wrong.  Saved his own neck....for a while at least.

The ‘spy’ didn’t have pliers and he didn’t trespass. He stood on a public highway and looked over a not particularly high bush.

The reaction to ‘spygate’ all feels a bit ridiculous and sanctimonious to me. Bielsa certainly isn’t the first person to do it in the Championship and won’t be the last. He is just the only one honest to admit he does it.

Talk of deducting points is ludicrous, the EFL even investigating it is over the top.

Can't agree with that Bethnal, I said at the time that this had legs while others suggested there would be no comeback. Bielsa has opened up a can of worms, possibly because he knew that he would be exposed and decided to come clean before the facts were discovered. His claim that it was his decision and no one else was involved doesn't stand up, sure, he's trying to minimize damage to his employer but the idea that he works so closely with so many people means that others have to be a part of it. Ultimately, he hasn't broken any rules but that doesn't make it right.

Well he's certainly not endeared himself to Walsall fans.

It's all happened very quickly, almost like it was done before it was announced. Walsall fans will have noticed. While it may be 'closer to home ' if he lives in Brighton  it's not going to save him that much traveling time.

If he went to Ipswich what's the big deal he's a professional footballer who has a couple of years left at best,

Anywhere would be better than Walsall

I think the big deal is that we're discussing this as supporters. Sure,he's got a living to make, we understand that but as fans we'd rather he didn't play for our rivals.
