  1. Can anyone suggest an address one could write to where letters would be forwarded to Worthy? Of course the last year as been poor, but he''ll never get the chance to be thanked by the fans for his general effort. I know some people think he is the anti-christ but if I were in his position I would certainly appreciate something from a few fans saying how much they enjoyed at least some of his tenure and are sorry at how he was shouted out of his job.........

  2. I''ll do as much as I can actually remember

Away at Swindon, 93/94, final score 3-3. Arkells Stand

    Howie

    Newman Butterworth Polston Bowen

    Adams Goss Crook

    Sutton akinbiyi

Not sure how accurate this actually is, if anyone could remind I would be very grateful. Actually sat in the swindon stand and I remember this old man effing and blinding the whole way through before some young woman asked him to calm down and then he lost it with her. The ref was awful and there was a good brawl in the second half

  3. There is something about teh bird poo one that makes me remember it fondly.... It is hard not to associate shirts with the level of football at the time. Not too sure about the past two, not nearly as bad as the all yellow one(which would have been great with a normal collar and green shorts) and the stupid one with a line of green that followed it.

How about a shirt next season that is all yellow, with a normal green collar, and green shorts. Rather like the one we had when we went down (minus the odd zigzags), and a better run of results!

  4. It seems as though Worthy will be here next season, so what will do for you? What would be everyone''s reaction if we came 6th and then got promoted? Would you stick by Worthy even after an average season, or get rid of him given that he has already had a go in the Premiership (it would be an odd thing to do, does experience count for the better in this instance?)

Its interesting to look at Pardew - public enemy number 1 at West Ham a year ago. Of course we are not going to make the FA Cup final in two years time, but how opinions change

Personally I am fed up with Worthington, but am more or less resigned to the fact that he will probably be manager for the whole of next season barring a poor first 15 games (not in the top 7 or 8). There are very few managers out there to replace him anyway, what has happened to Holloway? Get a few good players in (QPR lot) and admit mistakes once in a while, and it may not all be bad.

Interested in other people''s opinions, not pointless WO v. KTF match

  5. All worth it I am certain. BUT isn''t Lee Cook a left sided midfielder? We''ve got Hucks and McVeigh there. Not sure where Bircham and Shittu play, Shittu is defence I think. Worthington always says he''ll only get in players who add something to the squad and then buys crap. These players WOULD add something. Within the price range too without being a bit too old

  6. Just a thought - as I was walking back to the tube station after the match on Saturday these two QPR fans were talking about the norwich team, well Huckerby in particualr. I didn''t think he had that good a game, but they thought he was class - thats the thing, he IS actually better than your standard player, its just that we have such high expectations of him (because if he does deliver....)

  7. This may have already been mentioned...anyway

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and during and after Saturday''s match I was bloody pissed off along with everyone else at Loftus Road. What I can''t condone is

    1. Singing at Andy Hughes ''you''re not fit to wear the shirt'' when he came over to thank the fans - these particular two men weren''t fit to be in the stand

    2. Having a go at other supporters for clapping him, and indeed singing Wrothington''s Green Army towards the end of the match - and then proceeding to call one particualr man in front of me a ''complacent c___'' and blamiong him for the problems of the match

Did anyone else experience this sort of thing on Saturday. At a point suporters should conatin their anger and frustration, at least I think so anyway

  8. Not necessarily the most comdic moment but must have been in 200 ish, boring 0-0 draw at home to Forest. Dave Beasent in goal, thinks the ball has gone out for a goal kick but in fact its a corner to us. In his frustration he slams the ball to the ground only for it to come back and hit him in the face. We needed some sort of entertainment what with Raymond de Waard on the pitch
