Again down Staceys side, time to hook him and put fisher on
-
Terrible from Stacey first the throw and then failed to intercept

Gives Idah valuable game time and as there is no buy option then he may come back with more experience under his belt. They last time we signed a striker with “Van” in his name we all know what happened…..

Or they will go into meltdown

We should sign the Maidstone keeper , he was amazing today

Thanks for the great report as usual! Overall a very solid result and pleased to see Sainz and Rowe chasing back when we were under pressure. The CBs looked assured and Dimi looked composed at the back and got forward well although his shot was a mare.

And made timely and correct substitutions for a change

Agreed, they were solid decisions

20 hours ago, AJ said:The squad was still probably not good enough to stay up but Emi would have given us a fighting chance, especially if we'd have invested in keeping him, signing Skipp and bringing in a couple more PL quality/ready players maybe even on loan would have given us a much better chance than the garbage Webber came up with
I agree with this, Emi alone wouldnt of kept us up but if we had also retained Skipp and probably got one more decent striker I reckon we could of survived

There were clearly more than 20% booing - the fans need a public apology from Delia

Just now, Capt. Pants said:What an absolutely shocking performance.
Wagner out!!!
I think I heard sections of the crowd singing “we want wagner out” a few times - its his 1st anniversary - good time to kick him and his clowns out

1 minute ago, Petriix said:Clearly not anywhere near the required level yet. It's cruel to put him out there when he's so out of his depth. I'm very much in favour of giving game time to young players, but they have to be ready otherwise it can destroy their confidence. This is helping no one.
He is one definitely needing a loan spell in Lg1 or 2 to get more experience and hopefully get bulked up a bit more

Fisher nowhere
He should be put out on loan, too lightweight - needs bulking up

Utter tosh, he seemed happy enough sitting behind the dugout the other day v Southampton - joking and high fiving withhis team mates, didnt seem at all bothered not to be in the squad
-
The interesting thing is I was sat right behind the home dugout and A Hughes was screaming press them whenever we actually got them in their own 1/3 which was pretty rare…. Seems him and Wagner were not on the same page with their instructions during the first half. I actually got a cricked neck from watching constantly towards the Barclay 1st half, luckily my neck was relieved 2nd half

Even the soap ran out in the mens WCs yesterday in the coffin dodgers stand, utter shambles

11 minutes ago, king canary said:His issue isnt that he gets forward, it's that he's so leisurely about getting back when we turn the ball over. The amount of times he seems to be gently jogging back rather than busting a gut is worrying to me. It might work if we had a solid defensive set up to cover but we don't.
Fully agree, the coaches need to work on his defensive awareness and positioning, he is lost at sea tracking back
-
16 minutes ago, Thirsty Lizard said:That was completely Sainz' fault. He is the left winger - the player who crossed was the Southampton right back. Sainz totally failed to track the run and then waved his arms about and blamed McCallum. I like Sainz a lot, but the defensive side of his game still needs work. (and obviously Kenny getting nutmegged on the edge of our box didn't help either).
I just watched the replay several times and although Sainz stuffed up at the start Macullum should of had the tactic nous to follow the runner - all three of them (incl Kenny stuffed up)
