1.
Have heard on pretty good authority that not only will we have a new manager who we will be "pleasantly surprised" by, but a new owner shortly as well.  Paperwork ready and awaiting signatures in both cases.  The new owner is happy with the new manager to be.The person I spoke to says, until signed, they can''t 100% guarantee it will happen, but the intention from all parties is there... Oh happy days!!!!  No i''m not a binner, a newbie or a wind up merchant, I''ve deliberated on whether to say anything or not for the last 2 hours,It''s not Cullum but I don''t want to say just yet in case  I get myself in trouble, but my source would be "in the know". You can appreciate the feeling - Having been told something about your Club you want to shout but know it will cause loads of stick!!!
Who gave you that information?
 2.
I can''t be bothered to read through all that again so forgive me if i''ve but this back to front, but didn''t the OP say that A: The objective is to ensure our Championship status. B: There is £20m for the player budget to do this. C: They would be ready to go public in 3 weeks? Well in my book A+B+C= Too bloody late!
Mr B, We would have to use the loan market, but unlike the current set up it would be players that we wished to buy once the window was open again
 3. As I have said many times Delia will not give the club up, and that is a fact. We are prepared for a fight
 4.

It would seem from the views of most of you that coming on here was a mistake, I can understand that you need details, but that is out of the question whilst plans are ongoing. I would like to make it clear to you all that we will move this on as quickly as we can, and outlines will be released to the press ASAP. Thanks everyone
What made you change your mind on that one? IIRC you earlier said you didn''t want to tell the press yet or words to that effect. And also, PROVE YOURSELF! If you spend the time setting up a website or something like that, it will make it a little more believable. Prove to everybody that it isn''t a wind up; Otherwise, shut the door on your way out.
I said we didn''t want to go to the press yet, but we would hope to be able to in around three weeks. As for a website, it is not in our plans as yet, the important thing is moving things along in the real world not cyber-space.

 7.
Excellent reply NY-Canary, why on earth such a consortium would come onto the pink-un forums, with any consortium rep with their head screwed on knowing the majority of posters on here are wind up merchants and people who don''t take the club seriously, really does baffle me. There are clear signs of a wind up, with reliable posters on here beginning to ask serious questions this guy has gone silent whilst some of you sit arguing amongst yourselves.
In answer to your question why come on here? Its called doing research, this is the biggest Norwich site, with the biggest membership, and one of the most active football message boards in the country. What else are we to do to gauge fans reaction to the takeover? This is not a wind-up, its a real proposal that will happen with your vocal support. As for Delia, she does not wish to sell so this is the only way forward.
 8.
Why hostile? Thought we are looking for investment!!!
investment yes, loss of her club and control no.
 9.

Hi Everyone and Happy New Year We are after something from you, and that is your support in plans for a consortium based bid to take over the club. It is not possible for obvious reasons to go in to much detail at the moment, but the consortium will be fronted by a former city  player, and five others two of whom would be known to you all. We feel it would more than likely take the form of a hostile takeover, so we need your support. Views please, and thank you for your time
I don''t think anyone can be believed for being cynical bearing in mind the number of false dawns we''ve had on this messageboard with people on the wind up. Can you give us any reasons why this isn''t a wind up? If it isn''t a wind up I apologise and wish you every success, its just the cynic in me that gives every scenario sceptism seeing that we''ve been done so many times before.
There is no way I can prove its not a wind up, only time will prove this, but we wish to move fast to help secure Championship football next season.
 10.

We feel it would more than likely take the form of a hostile takeover, so we need your support.
CTA2009, NCFC is not a listed company, so many of the usual mechanisms used in hostile takeovers cannot apply. Given that, could you explain what you mean by a hostile takeover and how it would be achieved? Your answer might well help clarify whether this is a serious proposition or a bit of Friday fun. Thanks.
Hostile is meant in the sense of Delia and Michael would have to be forced into giving up the club (by fans pressure etc), its not all going to be handshakes and toasting success with glasses of champagne type deal.
 11.

If you have something genuine to offer I suggest you approach the local press.
We  would not go to the media at this stage. The reasons for this are without fans support this is a no go, as the player concerned would not want his standing with the fans compromised.
You could count on one hand the number of City fans who wouldn''t welcome fresh investment. If you''re for real, go public and the support will follow.
As explained above we can''t go public, because of the players views and we are not ready to. This isn''t getting very far...treat it as a straight forward question, would you support such a consortium in principle?

Sounds good but we do get time wasters on here, from time to time.
Not much more I can tell you at this stage Kathy, apart from there would be money to compete with the bigger clubs in the league.
