The away shirt last year was released on pretty much the last day of July I think, so this is quite early in comparison! -
What on earth does that Be Afraid picture mean?! That its going to be black? Bit boring if so, will be too similar to last years. -
Likely. I doubt they''d want to do all the training, bonding etc and the 3 matches with only 2 strikers! The purpose of the trip will be to up fitness and develop game plans, pointless if you are missing key players. -
Number 9, shirt printing just £5 for a short period of time -
Well that was awesome! Great atmosphere after the final wicket. Cricket at its very best! -
@tancredipalmeri: Can confirm that Norwich have contacted Juventus for Quagliarella, but so far the offer is pretty far -
Morris didn''t go on the trip to Austria whilst the Murphy''s and Toffolo did so I would suggest Morris isn''t in Hughton''s plans yet; but the others are. Maybe a short term loan deal for them? -
Yes that was his reply. I may just be clutching at straws here but I interpreted his response as quite promising (i.e Alderweireld hasn''t turned us down and McNally seems quite confident) -
I wouldn''t have thought McNally would respond to that tweet like that if he had already turned us down? -
@davidmcnally62: “@hughfranklin666: Mail Online quote interview with Alderwierld in it he states he doesn''t want join midtable team” ah,must be true then -
Does anyone know if he is an out and out striker or could Hughton be planning on bringing him in to play behind RVW? Unless there is a change in formation (2 up top), I can''t see one or the other being happy to be on the bench. -
That quote was from back in April, when he was questioned about Liverpool''s interest. He said they would be better a better option for him compared to Newcastle (the mid-table club in question).Since then he has appeared to change his tune a bit, maybe due to a lack of other offers - I wouldn''t write this deal off just yet! -
@matthew_barker: Mediaset say #Juventus & #Norwich have agreed a fee for Fabio Quagliarella. Now up to the player to decide whether he fancies the move. -
So, I had a season ticket last season and went to 8 away games (15 away games in 2011/12). Unfortunately for family reasons I couldn''t renew for this season but I am hoping to go to most away games. I am left with just 300 points (2 of the away games were on general sale and they won''t let me have the points!), when someone who may have just got a season ticket and never been to an away game in their life gets 1,000? I don''t want to play the victim here but I feel that''s very unfair! -
Hughton is obviously worried about how poor we were without Bassong (City away excepted), understandably. -
Doesn''t really say much different to previous links. He''ll listen to our offer, if its not right he will stay/go elsewhere. Seems fair enough. -
Had great fun today! Hopefully we can get rid of Smith early tomorrow and the rest quickly follow. I don''t think my tickets to day 5 will be getting used... -
Yeah I am planning on wearing it! Trent Bridge is just up the road for me so I go quite a bit. Went to the Ashes test there back in 2005 when I think we won by 3 wickets chasing a very small score!Lovely ground. -
Herman - I got them towards the end of last year when they went on sale. All gone within about 30 mins. -
Off to the first 2 days of the Ashes!! -
95% sure of his destination? If his dad is to be believed, us and Bremen are the only two clubs to contact Ajax and they can''t afford him. -
Here is the full article. Sounds quite promising and good to see they are referring to RVW and our ambition. Over to Hughton to sell us to him I reckon."Toby Alderweireld has his heart set on a transfer abroad and is possible to Norwich City. The Canaries have officially reported to Ajax and the negotiation of a transfer fee are started. Alderweireld had actually hoped for a larger club, but is looking forward to seeing what Norwich has to say.The team of Chris Hughton ended in the last season as eleventh in the Premier League; the year before finishte Norwich as the twelfth. For Champions League football Alderweireld need in any case not to Norwich. "It is true that Toby clubs had in mind that higher ended, but counts for us the full picture", says Vic Alderweireld, the father of the Ajax defender, in the source: Gazet van Antwerpen."Norwich has already done one and showed that the very what ambition", refers Alderweireld senior on, for example, the advent of Ricky of Wolfswinkel, who paid for the highest amount in the history of the club was taken from Sporting Portugal. "It would be short-sighted to ''no'' in advance to say, simply because they were eleventh last season. We look beyond just the name of the club. The full plate counts."Ajax would ask EUR 7.5 million for the 24-year-old Alderweireld, which still has a one-year contract. Bayer Leverkusen found that amount too high and chose Emir Spahic of Seville. "Leverkusen is no longer an option at this time, already know you never. I can say that Leverkusen and Norwich are the only two clubs that are currently effectively have reported to us or Ajax'', the father of Alderweireld. His son played so far in the first 124 competitieduels Ajax." -
@football_oranje: Alderweireld''s father also says his son expected bigger clubs to be interested but they are impressed with the ambition of Norwich. #Ajax -
@football_oranje: Norwich and now not interested Leverkusen are the only two sides to contact Ajax over Toby Alderweireld according to his father. #ncfc@football_oranje: Alderweireld''s father on Norwich City, "We look beyond the name of the club. The complete picture counts." #Ajax #ncfc@football_oranje: Alderweireld''s father on Norwich City, "We look beyond the name of the club. The complete picture counts." #Ajax #ncfc
