  1. The problem is that the likes of Jack Walker and Steve Gibson are a different breed to what is coming through. Maybe the same can be said for Bill Kenwright and S&J?

The difference between S&J and Steve Gibson though is that the latter has put his money in solo without relying on contributions from others and been prepared to write large chunks of it off.

The difference between Attanasio and S&J is no local connection and as with Everton how do we know he won't suddenly just call in his money? Debt is debt even if 'internalised'. The self funding logic should have been adhered to even if S&J couldn't subsidise like Gibson with our PL earnings helping us out instead of becoming a potential millstone around our necks.

  2. Lol as much as you want but there is the reality on ground expansion. Given it's support for the likes of West Ham the Government ought to make contributions for provincial clubs too. The message to the likes of us though ought to be get in the Premier League, put some money aside for ground expansion, the Government to provide matching funding in return for wage bill restraint and lower charges to match going fans.

Not really, since although a number of season ticket holders decided not to go, we sold out quickly when non members, with previous purchase history, were allowed to buy. Implies to me that the demand is there!

Well there is a 64,000 dollar question. The issue is whether we can attract those regulars who aren't coming for whatever reason including price alongside the new day trippers. If we priced ourselves like West Ham the answer could be yes. Then again we don't want to price ourselves like West Ham do we?

Depends entirely on the terms of the debt.  They could be permanent loans with no term and no right to repayment, only for the borrower to repay.

Latest filing at Companies House shows net positive Shareholders Funds of £222million. More than double that is recorded on Page 32 as a loan to be repaid at a mutually agreeable date therefore no contractual liability. Creative accounting at it's worst.

Because he fancied messing with your head over share prices...You should have taken my offer at the time, wouldnt offer as much again as i can see just about everyone except you actually trying to 'help the club'. Personally i hope you choke on yours.

No, seriously , the Lovely Zoe showed him your communications with  the Club and he thought them the most amusing thing ever, some mug, into shares to the tune of 25k...esssentially peanuts to the actual big boys, kicking off as if he's something special. Being a Sport lover , he couldnt resist being part of what is turning out to be something of great amusement to everyone but you. For that alone he must be applauded and supported.

    PS   Youre a Gollum.

I’m not sure it’s worth it but I’ll try again. As usual you aRe taking some information that suits your argument and failing to see the whole picture. West Brom’s site shows 2 types of membership. The one you quote, which is. The equivalent of our home membership which season ticket holders don’t need , as is the case at Norwich, and a separate away membership which gives priority for AWAY games. The simple fact is that you have been bleating on about this all season and stating it was not needed because you had bought away tickets without it. That’s fair enough but you were bound to be wrong for matches with limited capacity or very high demand. You knew the requirements pre-season and made a choice- it really is time to stop derailing some many threads on this site with your incessant whinging.

West Brom reserved 500 tickets for their Away Membership, the remaining 1,500 for ST holders with their own separate loyalty point system - no need to buy an away membership. Leeds only gave any priority to Away fans only if they held an Away Season Ticket or attended 20 plus Away Games.  Southampton didn't allocate to anyone who wasn't a Season Ticket holder.

But despite your point of view they cannot rewrite the rules. Thats not how it works. And remember he hasnt been found (or pleaded) guilty as yet - im not saying he isnt.

He's an adult - as grown man, and with a well paid job (not that that is relevant), why should the club have to hold his hand?

Rules indeed. Maybe Football Clubs would have better reputations if they struck a different balance between their employees and the general public with the former required to behave as ambassadors for their Club and the equally absurdly paid administration staff be required to ensure they do.

1 weeks pay for every mg over the legal limit would be good. That's 67 weeks. Should reimburse those going to the Away game too.

I'm sure the club will fine him as appropriate - although I believe the max is 2 weeks wages.

And the CPS will deal with the rest too. in good time.

Have you found another stick? Maybe Zoe should have picked him up from the pub!?

The 2 just needs a 5 in front of it.

If the Club can't recommend a good taxi service I am sure I could for a fee. Alternatively your last suggestion is quite good.

Indeed. Prices should be means tested. Now, with your £25,000 asset in Norwich City Fc, you could clearly subsidise a number of supporters reliant on Universal Credit. Very generous of you. Let’s say, £216 for your ticket and then 5 people dependent on UC can go for free. 👍

Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe the Club could levy a fine on Shane Duffy instead or do you expect him to add value in the play-offs?

Maybe Shane could buy everyone's ticket for Sunday. That should just about wipe out his salary for his one year with us.

Has he though?  Really?  Do the actions of one player on their time off bring the club into disrepute?

Not an incident in isolation though given the Flynn Clarke drug driving case. At 102mg Duffy was 3 times over the drink driving limit which is far far from marginal. The Club can't control everything but in the light of the 2 cases and the injuries suffered by members of the General Public, the answer to the question is essentially 'yes' and they ought to be reviewing their policy at the very least in terms of managing public relations in regard to such incidents.

Maybe you can blame the efl for having a play-off system at all, and even more when you think of the tickets for the final.

Perhaps we should just let the team in third have the promotion slot, save all this mental anguish.

At least Wembley prices won't be set by an organisation that is always banging on about Mental Health.

People don't get jailed for a first drink driving offence mate, footballer or not, that just doesn't happen.

Death by dangerous driving they would obviously, but Duffy isn't going to jail and it has nothing to do with how much money he has earned, it just doesn't happen, there is no room in the prisons for a start.

And yes, I know all that, which is why I'm amazed we didn't sack Flynn Clarke who left THREE people with serious injuries. Have the club ever commented on that? He's not even very good.

Those who are Flynn Clarke's age need to be looking up to the likes of Shane Duffy as model professionals. I would like to think that Clarke wasn't paid when in prison but got an opportunity to rehabilitate his career when released. The Club's Directors who ought to be more mature than either Clarke or Duffy ought to publicly comment in both instances but prefer to talk about a beer can assaulting their car.

Essex, please (as I've suggested before) step away from the keyboard, for.your own well being.

    Read the room.

Read the room on Brexit. Read the room on sending immigrants to Rwanda. Read the room on the Post Office case. Which Room are you reading?

The pure facts are that none of our 3 play off rivals gave so little priority to ST holders and so much priority to those attending minimal numbers of away games.

Since the Independent Football Ombudsman told him to pipe down, he has no other recourse but to try and spout his self-important cr*p on here to anyone who will listen.

Everyone who bothers to listen disagrees with him, but every official channel has shut him down so he has to resort to spreading his endless miserable money-obsessed monomaniacal ramblings on here.

The Independent Football Ombudsman - the organisation that states on its website that part of its remit is 'fan stakehokding' but now claims that it no longer has the expertise to deliver it. More evidence of the decline of British society.

The more relevant issue is the money driven delusion of grandeur in Norwich City seeking to behave like Leeds or Liverpool rather than Southampton or West Brom.

Even the abjectly abysmal Government wants to take on the Football industry. Not surprising when someone who sits around at meetings discussing £1 discount for Season Ticket holders following on from a £118 million wage bill earns more than 4 times as much as a Cabinet Minister. The Minsters are jealous of that level of ineptitude.

Shot to pieces ? As I said and I will be ' rude ' again you are bizarre in your thinking.

You need to give your head a serious wobble. Ever wondered why nobody, absolutely nobody entertains your nonsense?

So bizarre that according to the attached WBA don't require ST Holders to be members either.

Membership FAQs | West Bromwich Albion (wba.co.uk)

plus Leeds somewhat convoluted nonsense but nonetheless still gives some consideration to season ticket holders seemingly without obliging Away Membership

Bizarre you really are bizarre! Get help FFS.

You are only being rude because your argument is shot to pieces as no Southampton seasn ticket holder buys Saints Plus.

If NCFC want to sell more Memberships they should insist that everyone who attends any match at Carrow Road has purchased one rather than trying to squeeze more money out of season ticket holders but of course NCFC prefers the lazy option.

Going by the home sales as well, his opinion of us that travel miles for home games, shouldn’t be allowed to be season ticket holders is so funny.

I have never stated that which is absurd.

It does make sense though for the Club to be more proactive about locally based fans especially in creating atmosphere at midweek matches when distance travellers face challenges though clearly not when Leeds is the destination

Priority to obtain away tickets for this season you had to join the Saints Plus membership which was £35 so before waving that ridiculous stick of yours around dig a bit deeper.

At the start of the week it was Hull and today Southampton.

Saints Plus is essentially a Home Membership scheme which gives zero priority over ST holders who are not required to buy any Memberships to get priority for anything. Saints Lite is an Away Membership Scheme that gives zero priority over STholders or Saints Plus and has been of zero value in obtaining Away leg tickets as Southampton FC, unlike NCFC, clearly understands the principles of hierarchy. If Southampton had minority shareholders they would understand the significance of that too.
