1. Just logged on to say the same thing - you beat me to it.  May just be big game nerves (and its his last game for them) but he should have taken the first chance much quicker and cocked up the 2nd.  He wouldn''t score goals in the Premier League if this game is anything to go by.  On the plus side, he is very quick.

I would think with the signing of Vaughan that we have probably ended our interest anyway

  2.
Against all the odds, we have just secured promotion back to the premiership and for some unknown reason, someone has to call into question the motivation of one of the board members based upon an interpretation of one line of a book! Neither they, nor I have a clear understanding of the person''s role for the club but hey, lets assume the worst just to play safe? It couldn''t possibly be anything to do with interest in the club or the region could it? There must be a secret reason, a dark conspiracy, no doubt involving millions being syphoned from the club... Let''s not enjoy the moment and the speculation about future purchases instead lets cast around for someone who isn''t as pure as us; someone that might not love the club in the right way; lets dismiss anyone who has not attended as many games as I have as a glory hunter... How some people love the club to fail, so that they get the chance to really vent their spleen.
When I wrote the original post, I had hoped for a reasoned debate on Stephen Fry''s position as a Board member.  I never mentioned the possibility that he may be stealing money from the club or how I love the club to fail, and such thoughts couldn''t have been further from my mind.  One poster has even suggested that Stephen Fry might not have written his own auto biography (apparently celebrities get someone else to do it for them).

Never mind, I''ll go and talk to the Labrador instead. At least he''s got a brain.

  3. Quote from Fry''s autobiography (funny, witty and revealing, according to The Mail on Sunday)

Mr Valentine was kind and cardiganned and very interested in my views on cricket. He concluded that while Botham could swing the ball, his line and length were too erratic. Of Latin and Greek there was no discussion.  Nor thankfully, of soccer.
It was a great watch and quite staggering that 91% of west ham''s income was dished out on players wages! I think an obvious way to control this is to enforce a wage cap, Although as pointed out deciding the mechanics of a wage cap is not easy. Well worth a watch.
NCFC have just announced that all of the Sky money next season will go to the playing budget.  Which means we will probably beat the 91%
I honestly cannot see this being true.
Announced by Bowkett at the club dinner last night - reported on Radio Norfolk this morning
