1.

Celtic could be pleased to get shot of him , the lad sounds like trouble. http://sport.scotsman.com/topics.cfm?tid=829&id=883042007
so id Chris Brown yet we signed him.. so why not riordon too... we''ll take joey Barton and Kieron Dyer whilst we are at it.. and have Lee Bowyer on the bench.. what a great team we''d be! jas :)
and whats your point? i seem to remember when bellamy was here he was supposed to have a bad boy reputation but he was alright and not many peopel complained about it then.
2.
Riordan is used by Celtic as a left winger. Thus, he gets regular first team football with them.
really? i could of sworn when ive seen them play nakamura plays left wing with mcgeady on the right or sometimes zurawski plays there.
3. Does anyone think hes worth trying to get again? I know one of the main reasons he didnt join us was because he started playing for celtic. theyve just signed chris killen and scott macdonald though and with miller, venegoor and zurawski there it doesnt look like he''ll be playing much.
4. Fotheringham - came with a big reputation and has done absolutely nothing except for preston away. Hes way too lightweight and his 40 yard freekick against Ipswich summed it up for me. Why is he getting a new contract?
5. on the bbc website it doesnt look like weve had a shot in the first half. just a lot of offsides.
6. i read in the local cambridge newspaper last night that us, ipswich and leicester are chasing robbie simpson whos out of contract in the summer. i think hes 21, hes 6foot1 and good at holding the ball up and hes also got 15 league goals this year. what do you think - good signing?
7. word was at the stoke game that we''ve had a 1.5 million bid from middlesboro for shackell. its quite a bit of money but i don''t see why he''d wan''t to go there.
8. dont get me wrong, i respect andy hughes for the amount of work he puts in and appreciate that he can be a leader. but hes a midfielder, not a right back. coventry''s goal on saturday was his fault and so was lutons second today, and by all accounts hes had a shocker at luton. the thing that really puzzles me is that we have jurgen colin on the bench whos been one of our better players this season so why is hughes playing? has grant fallen out with colin or something?
9. anyone remenber the fa cup game against dagenham a couple of years ago that we one 1-0 - particular the dagenham physion. must of weighed about 20stone, wearing tiny red shorts? chanting who ate all the pies at him was the funniest thing ive seen at a match.
10. This might sound a bit stupid but will most people be going to liverpool street or kings cross if they''re going on the train?
11. I dont understand why people have been suggesting that we should sign players like Craig Short and Andy Todd to solve our defensive "problems". They are both in their 30''s and theres normally a reason players arent playing week in week out - possibly because they''re past it. In my opinion there is no problem anyway. Just a month or so ago when we had Dion and Shacks at centre half we actually looked like we could defend and unfortunately due to injuries we haven''t been able to play them together, which we might be able to do on Saturday. Doherty also has admittedly had a bad season, but he does still have some quality, remember last season when he won player of the year. also it hasnt helped that since Grant came here there hasnt been any point where we have had an alternative to Dublin up front and all three centre halves fit. Im sure that if this had happened the competition for places would have made all three perform better.
