  1. Worthy has no plan ''c'' because he never learnt his alphabet.  Besides, he isnt known for his planning ahead as he is never wrong so therefore never needs to wander from his original train of thought.I find it completely puzzling that he hasnt even picked up a couple of ''free'' journeymen just to bolster the squad numbers.  Something is happening withn the board room of NCFC incorperated that even he cant budge.Mind you saying that, it will by no means shock me if we all of a sudden find a couple of million for players, well, the board have to prove us all wrong to keep face.  Dont they?????
  2. Asked whether the players were demoralised by the lack of new arrivals, Huckerby said: “It''s not so much the players, it demoralises the fans. I would have thought they would have been expecting a signing or two"Sing up the Huckerby!  Mind you, be careful what you say, the ''Worthington'' isnt well know for his patience with players that dare to not tow the club spin line.  Actually, anyone who dares to cross that line come to think of it......Morgan, Foley, Jarrett, Jackson, Anselin....
  3. As one of those city fans that can remember the Sir Arthur South era, when players were being sold for record breaking sums, we always wondered where the cash went.  It was exactly the same with the Chase era.  The thing is though, we always managed to put teams together on shoestrings that used to compete and play great football so the fact that players were going for £1m plus and not being replaced was soon forgotten.  So what has changed?Nothing except the fact that there are more people pulling the strings in the background, oh and we dont play good   football! As a club we have had more cash flow through our hands than ever before.  I realise the debt aspect that had to be addressed, but looking at most clubs, they all have debt.  Look at Derby, £62m in debt, yet they just spent £1m on a player ''we were looking at''.  It would be nice to see the board come out with the facts and figures in real terms, and not the spin side that we always recieve.  The stands that have just been built were financed before our Prem season, but for some reason they are still being thrown in as a reason. So Delia and co, lets have some honesty, are you holding back due to uncertainty about Nigels previous spending record, are the directors recouping their monies, or are we genuinely skint?  Just dont patronise us, thats all we ask.
