    Ipsquit to go up automatically?

Ipsquit to beat us in the playoff final?

Ipsquit to beat us in playoff semi then lose in the final?

Least worst is they go up automatically as that doesn't mean we haven't gone up...

If we're not going up anyway then option 3 as I do strongly believe it they don't go up this season they will drop back down, this is a freak occurrence for them driven by McKenna, don't go up and he's off and they will regress to where they should be with the squad they have got

My Leeds friend says it’s become a bit of a cult classic and they call it the ‘fruit salad’ kit after the sweets. He won’t have a bad word said against it..

However he’s in 1975 mode when they ‘won’ the European cup. It turns out they over ordered them by the thousands… They dropped the price down to £20 and in true Yorkshire/Leeds fashion, he bought one for his new girlfriend for Valentine’s Day (£18 with season ticket discount) 🙄

P.S He also wants Farke gone by the semi with ‘Hull’🙄 (His words not mine) I just read his drunken rant this morning. Blames infiltration of Norwich mentally, reminded him of Fulham 05’ blah blah blah

Its like Paul Lambert vs Leeds all over again 🙄

The Norwich mentality had briefly infiltrated when they made up the 15+ points on Ipswich and Leicester, then the Leeds mentality kicked in and they've fallen apart ...again

You will still have a seat/seat number. You can still sit in the safe standing area if you wish but your view will be impaired.

We have taken the view that we will give safe standing a try, on the basis you can still sit down at half time and , before the game starts...........

Have you confirmed this? I thought the seats were locked shut when it was in a standing configuration...

Luton will be a better club for their (seeming) one season at the top-table. Haven't they used some of the money to improve their ground, haven't they a better squad?

They may even be contenders in the Championship again with the parachutes they will get.

A big step forward resulting in a smaller step backwards?

I think the problem lies after the first promotion. You come back down with the money, the improvements and the parachute payments, you should be competitive at the top end the next season so fan expectations are higher, if you then get promoted again you need to try and push on, but the resources from 2 brief visits are not enough so you either see a bit of regression and the supporters getting disheartened or you gamble more than you should.

Promotion paves the way to hell...

I think it's going to be a while before anyone matches my record of people actually ignoring a thread entitled 'ignore' for a good few days. 🙂

You set the trend for others to buck...

It will be interesting to see whether you get more than the 233 views (at the time of writing), that the same thread title gained for LYB?

Already at 226 views. How many replies did LYB get?

V happy to be corrected but I think I remember reading that when you loan a player you transfer their registration, so Abu Kamara will still officially be a Portsmouth player until (again, happy to be corrected) June 1. As with Idah and Celtic, think this is a non starter

Just a minor point, but domestic and international loans work differently, international loans is a full transfer of the player as it has to be between FAs, domestic loans are a lot more flexible (but depending on the wording of the loan contract probably won't be able to play for us)

To be fair they’ve only got promoted due to their fan base and how even when things got tough they always sung and kept supporting the team. The lack of booing 20 years ago when they got relegated from the premiership has resulted in this promotion from league 1.

Yes, being owned by billionaire Michael Eisner has nothing to do with it, it was purely the fans what got them promoted...

I am being flippant as he hasn't just dumped money in like so many other owners, but that is a ridiculous statement to make....

No we are not. We have already exceeded all expectations so as far as I am concerned what will be will be, and I will be proud our players whatever happens from here on in. Every team has its section of idiot fans who know **** all about football and sh!t the bed everytime the team don't win 5-0, but most sensible fans i know are realistic and know that we are punching well above. You guys can talk all you like about us bottling it etc. but deep down you know that we have no right to be up there challenging the 3 relegated teams and the fact we are irritates you immensely. So you can frame it however you like but finishing 3rd or 4th will not be even close to bottling it for a side just up from league one. I'm not even writing us off for top two either, this team is perectly cabable of 4 wins on the spin.

I have to say most of you guys seem awfully ****-sure of yourselves following the derby. I mean fair play, you deservedly won the game on the day and Wagner also won the tactical battle agaist Mckenna, but should we meet in the play-offs do you really expect him to do so 2 more times? If there is one thing about Mckenna he usually finds the answers and finds a way to win games, I don't think you will be able to play the same way 2 more times and expect us to play as badly as we did last week. Just my view, and maybe I am wrong but i'd be keeping my poweder somewhat dry if I were you. You won the battle but the war may not be over yet.

Whilst you do seem rather sensible, on McKenna finding answers, he has actually got worse against us, what makes you think he could turn it round when the pressure is REALLY on? Whilst we know you have no right to be up where you are (+18 over xG isn't it?) your fans should also know that and if you don't go up this year then McKenna will get poached and you will drop back down to where you should be with the squad you have. We had the same with Lambert, occasionally managers come along and hit the right club at the right time, that is McKenna with you now and once he is gone so will you be...

I'd prefer to see a few rare glaring errors like this than VAR being so invasive and active in affecting the rules of the game to suit it.

I read that it hit the player on the face when it happened, at least it was his hand based on this replay.  Shocking positioning to think it was in the box though.

Looks very much like the head to me in the replay... But I am on a phone screen...

I thought the opposite lol, firstly it was multi ball so the balls were on cones and just picked up. However don’t know if anyone else noticed once we were in front, the ball boy nearest the snakepit through the original ball on the pitch on a couple of occasions when we didn’t appear to be back in position.

I did notice an extra ball coming onto the pitch a couple of times... But I thought the new rules with multi all and the cones was hat the ball boys weren't allowed to give the ball to the players anymore?

Why did Josh hang his leg out though? As Don Goodman said on Sky, in the form he is in, you’d expect him to beat the keeper from that position, I’ve no idea why he tried to induce the foul.

He didn't really hang his leg out though, he did what any good striker does, cut in front of the defender who is trying to get back so that they can't get to the ball, the defender then either fouls you or has to go round you taking time. Morsy just clatered into the back of him...Much like Luango did near the half way line in the 8th minute when Josh had a through ball to chase that again the ref didn't give anything for
