  1. Melbourne Canary and his attractive assistant Lu the Tyke (Barnsley for the uninitiated) did all Rotherham United fans proud on Saturday by collecting 750 quid outside Carrow Road before your game against Derby.  To manage this in less than an hour was unbelievable. I was down in Swindon cheering on the Merry Millers to a superb win - the news of everyone''s generosity simply placed a large dollop of cream atop my footballing cake - and as Jon wrote earlier there was a slight tear in the corner of me eye. Jon I owe you a kiss.  You an''all Lu, though I can''t tell the missus!! The Footballing Family is alive and kicking everywhere. Myself, my 7 year old and Rotherham fans everwhere can''t thank you all enough. Up the Millers and On The Ball City!!!! Steve Exley  -  Moulin Rouge fanzine
  2. I am that soft git (as Melbourne Canary would have it).  On behalf of myself, my 7 year old AND ALL ROTHERHAM UNITED FANS I would like to extend huge thanks to all people who contributed to the impromptu bucket collection that took place last Saturday at Carrow Road on our behalf.  It is truly touching that such a total can be collected in such a short space of time (1 hour) so many miles away from God''s own country (sorry). Just think of it, a Canary, his Tyke girlfriend collecting on behalf of the Millers before a Norwich v Derby game.  The Family of Football is truly alive and kicking. Jon - I owe you a kiss.  Lu - I''d better give you a kiss too (but don''t tell my missus!)......and SPUD - when will we see you at Millmoor again? Once again - THANKS Up the Millers and On the Ball City!!
