  1. I agree. Along with Turner he was responsible for both goals today and has been beaten several times by eminently saveable shots from distance this season.

His reaction today to some ironic cheers from the crowd when he managed to punch one clear was not good to see. Yes it''s not nice getting stick from your own fans, but when you''re having an undeniably poor game in a team who are woefully underperforming, it is inevitable. If you don''t like it, your near six-figure monthly pay packet is more than adequate compensation for your grievance..

I was massively disappointed in Ruddy today, who this morning I would have described as my favourite Norwich player. Not anymore.

Time to give Rudd a go.

  2. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.

There are bad games, there are awful games, there are utterly, abjectly dire games. And then there are games like Whittaker had tonight.

I genuinely believe we would have been better with 10 men tonight. He did more to help Leeds than he did Norwich.

  3. I was at the game and thought BJ was utterly crap. For every good pass he hits he sends half a dozen in the wrong direction. If he shoots again, he needs shooting himself.

I kinda hope Tettey was injured, because I love Adams, but starting BJ when Tettey is fit and available is right down there with Gary Doherty in centre-mid in the league table of stupid decisions by a Norwich manager.

  4. Tettey and Johnson at home against teams that will park the bus is a definite no no from here on in.

And if you have to drop one, it has, has, has to be Johnson. Absolutely no contest.

Grabban could do with a spell on the bench as well. I know he''s stuck a few away, but my God he is wasteful. If it isn''t four yards out or deflected, he can''t score.

  5. He was claiming it was offside, Tettey''s cross hit Grabban first. However, Turner was behind Grabban when it made contact with his leg, so he couldn''t have been offside. Marshall just doesn''t know the rules. The goal should have been Grabban''s, had Turner not followed it up we''d have been bemoaning a missed chance that even RVW would probably have finished.Tettey''s first touch before his cross was absolutely world-class.

  6. I''m not quite sure why so many people are getting their knickers in a twist.

The board clearly wanted Lennon or Mackay but neither wanted us. You can''t employ someone who doesn''t want to be here. We probably had positive signs from Malky but when the whiff of another job became apparent he wasn''t interested. F*ck him. If he isn''t 100% committed to the job and the club then he''s not worth appointing.

Adams already knows the players and the club. So he wasn''t the board''s first choice, but what different does that make? If you first and second choices won''t come, you have to go for your third choice.

  7. Bowen, Grant, Mackay, McVeigh, Delia, Milligan, O''Neill, they were all committed Catholics.

I once saw Mulryne fall off a stool after slurring out a couple of pro-IRA chants in Delaneys.

Legend. It''s hilarious he is now a Priest. Imagine how long he had to spend in confession.

  8. I agree that you punish failure and reward success. That''s not the issue.

The issue is whether finishing 17th and a couple of points from relegation is a failure or a success?

Given that we have finished 12th and 11th in the Premier League the past two seasons and that we spent 20-25 million on players in 2013, I would argue that IF we do only finish 16th-17th and survive by the skin of our teeth, then it has not been a successful season, it has been a failure.

And we agree that you must punish failure.

    Agreed?

  9. You can blame the players for the failure to take our chances and win the game.

But for losing, you can only blame Hughton. We were in control and looked likely to score until his idiotic substitutions. Beyond stupid.

Snoddy was having a mare both going forwards and helping his full back. Seriously, he defends like the opposition winger is invisible. Redmond looked like a constant threat, Snoddy looked like a constant waste of oxygen. Hughton is the only man alive who would have kept him on the pitch. They must be romantically involved.

  10. ....why isn''t he more tanned? He has to be Chris Hughton''s lovechild after all.

Gave away a needless foul that led to West Ham''s goal, and would have been substituted by absolutely every single person who has ever managed a football club at any level, excluding our super tactician.

A game that we were all over snatched away from us by our own manager''s substitutions.

I was a fence-sitter before tonight, but that level of complete, total and utter incompetence has made my mind up. Bafflingly stupid.

  11. Are you all on a windup? Other than a dozen or so games last season, Turner has been awful.

Bennett and Bassong should be our centre-half pairing going forwards, we should invest in another quality centre-half in January and then, hopefully, we''ve seen the last of Turner in a Norwich shirt.
