1. I''ve seen Hooly about 25 times and I''ve been disappointed from 3 or 4 of his performances...admittedly he has fallen short in the past (getting caught in possession near his own box/getting out-muscled) but what he does give us no one else in our squad can (puts tin hat on (maybe Hughes come the closest))...I wasn''t at the LCFC game on Tuesday but after seeing the highlights EVEN if he did bugger all in the other 86 mins and gave the ball away constantly HE still did exactly what he''s there to do. scored 2, had a hand in the other 2 and wasn''t at fault for any of their 3...

    ...over.

Hooly-haters! drop it! its over...you don''t know what you are talking about.

    WTF is gorn on?

    4-3, who got sent off?
matt Fryatt got sent off. he scored then ran in the goal to get the ball from leon but kicked him in the back.
Nerve-shredding game but the timeline on Sportinglife.com made me smile: 78 Goal scored by Matt Fryatt (Leicester) 80 Matt Fryatt (Leicester) sent off for violent conduct 80 Leicester just have the edge. Key player: Matt Fryatt

Oh well we lost a game we should have won, bring on Leicester on Tuesday! No point dwelling on missed chances, most on this board will love this result so they can banter about how crap we are, how lambert got it all wrong etc etc We''re bound to lose some games this season, however were still up their apart from QPR the league is wide open.....
If we went up this season, we would need a whole new squad!
Karl Simpson. Full-back . Sent-off on his debut.
[Y]I think this guy must be the winner. What year did he appear?
If I remember rightly 96/97 season. Would have been under Walker’s second stint in charge.
simpson is a bloody good shout, i couldnt remember him - but he''s still on wiki - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_Simpson

I bet we can find some one that isnt...

  5.
My mate threw a pie from Row Q (i believe) and it hit Kieran Richardson. Definitely my favourite story of player grief.
west brom at home when we were both premming it...tell your mate great shot. I cant remember if it hit his shoulder or hit the turf...bloody good distance from row Q all the same. a funny day all round.

I remember giving it to Pat Van Den Hauwe along with most of the home support v Spurs or Everton in the late 80''s...he''d just munched Fox?/Gordon?/? Really badly..."what’s it like to shag at stick"? (Refering to him currently seeing the bulimic mandy smith) nasty stuff. I know a few people who knew him and thank fook there was barrier inbetween us as apparently he is one double aaard b''stard. He proper got it that day though.

  6.

So 6ish games in and taking into account performances, ability, experience etc etc, who would you have between the sticks.

From what I can glean, Ruddy has had a few ''mistakes'' while according to many, Rudd''s kicking may leave something to be desired.

Last night there was ''confusion'' between Ruddy and Barnett - have the players lost some confidence in Ruddy as he is prone to a gaff or is it simply one of those things, especially as Barnett is only new in the door?
Rudd''s kicking??Arguably one of his best attributes!!!!Ruddy is our number One end of question, Rudd will be our number one!!
agreed. I''ve only seen Rudd play twice but I thought his kicking (gills away last season) was almost Baresi-esque.

On main subject...stick with Ruddy...i remember a certain FF not being so sharp/dropping the odd "oh dear?" when he started with us.

  7.
Tube prices?
zone 1&2 travel card is £5.60 (this will cover you to/from liv st to white city)...and all over central london for that matter, is from memory, cheaper than a return, and gives you the bonus of covering you for jumping on the bus to lotus rd if needed.

My fave away ground...a tight packed ground with a great atmosphere...and if we lose I can be home in 25 mins to kick the cat.

  8.
"and its the wrong side of london if youve ever been?"

Sang ''where''s ya missus gone'' to Stan Bowles in 71/72 season, but they''ve probably moved it since then
"wrong side of London" for easy access to liverpool st/e.anglia...my QPR pals are immensely embarresed about their away support...check the stats (a feel sorry for them a bit as have a couple (one bigger than the other)of rather large clubs a stones throw away)....anyway, no biggie.

Att: 14,784 (v boro'' on sat whist top of the league and running away with it). mmm?
