    ...after 2 games (*Blackburn).

    Which tells me.

    a) that's got to be a record for the weakest 2nd flight start no?

    b) this is going to be a funny old season aka "Battle of the ⚓ankers".

    c) gives me hope we can have wiggle room to get our act together

    (*they have West Brom at home on Sunday, potential draw?) 

    Anyone else buoyed by this?

    I don’t see why we have to play with 4 at the back against lowly opposition. We can make daft defensive errors (Gibson x 2) with 4 or 3 at the back, (that goal would have been scored with 6 at the back), but having 4 in midfield would put us on the front foot a lot more.

    Ok there’s an argument that without Hanley we couldn’t do it today, but will Deano ever try it with him in the team?

    It could even work away as the 3 quickly becomes a 5 with Max/Sam and Sam/Sam/Dimi in the team, we've got to start imposing who we are in this league and forget what happened last season. This was a 3-0 game all day.

    ...sorry, it's nothing football. I've never posted a knee-jerk/pant wetting  post but this is dire football needs to be said, and we all know it. 

    If you don't agree then let me know your favourite Dean Smith game? Tough eh? At least Hughton had some kind of structure. I have no idea how to describe his style and systems.

    Lets hope Sara and Hayden come good.

    I assume this potential Sara deal is the one Bailey was talking about in The Athletic a few days ago as showing the level of our intent this summer, especially in filling the midfield gaps.

    As Neco Williams has just sold for £17m, surely there's hope for Aarons to hold a price around that figure no?
