My mate who''s a builder sayes that he and a team of workmen have been spending this week working on a facelift for the River End stand. It has involved lots of wood, but the finished article looks very much like an early Anglo Saxon settlement complete with central church, fat friars and a sandy ''beaching'' area in the 16 yrd area.
Said worthy...i wanted the new lads to feel at home, so please can all river end ticket holders please wear peasant smocks, bring their livestock, and generally make ''we want to be pillaged noises'' whilst displaying large quantities of gold artifacts and voluptuous women.

Several anxious moments were spent whilst the physio extracted him and his helmet from the nets clutches.

How about Steve Finnan from liverpool. Apparently suplus to requirements, can play r/back or r/midfield. Rep of Ireland international, don''t know if hes any good, or how much he would be. Houllier bought him from fulham, but there are new signings to take his first team place.

The more i think about it ...... the more convinced i am that the God that is Chris Sutton will return home. I reckon he would love to have a final crack at the prem...just to prove all those doubters of his ability to be an England forward wrong. There is alot of unrest at Celtic at the moment and City''s chances of staying up are unknown. There may never be a better time for a swansong. -

The sad state that the F.A. has allowed football to become. Bloated with too much money,
a national team of posing primadonnas, an F.A. cup competion that has become farce, a once fantastic 5 division setup that now acknowledges noone apart from the ''big'' few, and the sad possibility that a game 14 yr old kids parents could be prosecuted for their offsprings enthusiasum for their club and the net.
