You do not get anywhere near such figures by being 'mentally weak' (quoting that very silly phrase used by a poster on here when they had just won the first game of the season). We all waited for the wheels to fall off but they haven't. After many years of yellow dominance, we just have to accept what has happened with a degree of sportsmanship and good grace. Unfortunately some Yellows on here seem incapable of such rational behaviour.
Worth remembering that despite all this they were incapable of beating us.15 years!!

Nonsense. The pitch invasion was half hearted. Most Birmingham fans were disappointed and just wandered out. I’m sure there are some on here that are upstairs that the scenes of carnage they predicted were not evident at all!

My seat in the middle of the South Stand and half way back gives one a very decent view of proceedings but even so £36 is steep (and excessive). To charge punters same price for the front few rows right behind the goal when these 'customers' get zero perspective of the game and are staring through a mesh of netting is simply 'taking the you know what'! Still, Delia is a 'true fan' though isn't she!!
Do you not know what the prices are usually? Do you not realise that this is less than the price for some games during the season. Yes Delia personally decides on the pricing. Yes you are a moron!

On the other hand if you use those same stats to look at recent away form ( last 6 games) we are 8th, they are 23rd. Not that their away form is relevant for this game!

I've been watching a number of Youtube podcasts of people predicting Championship scores for Saturday's games. Of the five I have watched, nine of 10 people have predicted Birmingham to beat us ! Only Benjamin Bloom has predicted different - he had us down to draw ! Most stated that the capacity crowd would help Birmingham to win and that we are 19th on the away form ladder. One D1ckhead had a Birmingham win as the only "banker" of the fixtures. I'm glad Wagner will field our best team.
Birmingham - you're going down Saturday !
We aren’t 19th on the away form ladder-they are!

With so much riding on the game and pubs all over the City showing the game live on Sky i must say i am very surprised The Lion & Castle will be shut. A golden opportunity to open for a few hours and make a killing.
Are you Essex in disguise?

But I don't think I will bother stressing about this properly until about 1430h on Saturday (hopefully).
Don’t worry it will. I’m always amazed at how certain individuals on this board make the situation sound so difficult. As a season ticket holder you will be given a time by which you will have to reeve your seat and it will be loaded onto your card. That’s it, although as stated you’ll need to pay for it. The away leg will operate in away member priority, just like every other game.

Accept it.
Yeh so inconvenient for you. Fans recognising a decent run ( not a love -in) rather than one dimensional miserable bastards like you!

Schalke were a complete basketcase, overspending massively, racking up huge debts and are struggling to stay in business, never mind the second division.
Except that ignores the fact that Schalke were promoted back to the top division after the Wagner era. They were only relegated again last year. Shame that facts spoil your story!

I’ve got news for you. Even if NBC were willing to pay billions and they got agreement, we are not one of the 4 teams they’d want to see!!

Time for Ipswich to have a bit of time in the sun.
It was funny seeing them in League One, but its been nice playing them again this season.
Hopefully we can creep up with them, if not I'm sure our paths will cross again soon.
Them having two decades in League One wouldn't have been a good thing, it would mean that the rivalry would just die and they'd become completely irrelevant, we'd have an entire generation of fans who had never been to a Derby and we'd effectively be left without any rivals. Nobody truly wants that.
You speak for yourself! I could happily live without them.

But if MA financially astute as expected millions will not be pumped in the club, expect some investment. MA not a chelsea type billionaire but a mere millionaire with limited funds but plenty of expertise, sadly currently missing at Norwich.
Yes because we’ve so massively underachieved since she’s been here compared to so many other clubs! (PS for the moronic element on this board I was being ironic!)

We'll scrape a win in fairly ugly fashion - Rowe to come on as a late sub to score the winner in the 93rd minute of injury time breaking the Zulu's hearts.
Alex Matos will channel his "inner farm derby" yellow 'n' green credentials and will score the winner in the 93rd minute to send 1p5wich fans over the edge.
Dirty will just be too much for Soton, Martin gets sacked after the match!
Argyle vs the Tigers is an end to end match full of passion and vim, but the result will do nothing for either club's hopes.
WBA just don't turn up (Corberan will play a youthful set-up going against the prevailing thought that you need to go in to the play-offs with your best team on good form), score early but then go to pieces.
Good game, good game...
I would suggest that there may be an element of ‘wishful thinking’ in those predictions!!! However, you need to remember that we don’t want any element of ‘new manager bounce’ when we play Southampton so I’m fine with all the predictions except the sacking!

Do people get money if people click on this bollox. What’s the point. As he says at the start we have league tables to show where teams should be. Full top. There is no need for the rest of the video!

Of course that’s how they’ll do it. I guess only a small proportion still buy tickets on the phone.

Would like to say that if you look at the season as a whole, then yes he probably does. I myself at the time said he deserved it. The sheer commitment, his new role as captain that he's taken too and doing well as.. But it does feel like an odd one.
Does this need yet another thread? It’s player of the season not player for one game yesterday. The answer is yes he did. Move on!

Binners draw at Coventry and beat Huddersfield to finish 2nd. We play Leeds in the play offs and lose. Brom beat Southampton and go on to beat Leeds in the final.
What a happy bunny you are!

A mutual parting of the ways, rather than a sacking (Steve Weaver style, even Webber) would suit me fine.
He hasn't been a complete disaster after all. Yes, he also has the players on his side and playing for him, but there's nothing unusual there, as that's how it's supposed to be with any half-decent manager, surely?
That's how I see him. Half-decent and not one for the future.
He’s done the German option and failed miserably, so I’m not sure that he’d want to repeat it.

Part of me would be intrigued to see if he could recreate his success without a Buendia as I think it would be much more like the first season rather than the two that followed (2nd tier ones) but that’s no more than idle curiosity
May depend on whether he had Sara.

If it’s not meant to be a glorification then it’s doing a damn good job. Would You write similar stuff about Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal or the Manchester clubs who’ve been far more successful? I have no particular hatred for Leeds, especially as they now have Farke, but this is sickeningly gut wrenching. Oh and by the way despite the ludicrous song they never were ‘champions of Europe’
