I think folk will still be saying the binners will get reeled in when they're mathematically promoted.

Been a lot better for my mental health to just fully accept they're going up, and anything funny that happens is a bonus. And just hope they go full Derby County and McKenna gets pinched next season

If your mental health is affected by football, you need to take a step back.

Delia is not the "owner", she is a joint majority shareholder with her husband and all bar the final ratification, Mark Attanasio. I have no problem with Delia phoning that nice man Mr Wagner, not sure why it did not stay a private call..............

Talk about majorly missing the ****ing point.

Totally. And Wagner couldn't wait to tell journalists either.

Lol. Because no football club owner has ever given public support to their manager, have they?

Come on guys. Stop trying to stir up **** when it's not justified. There's plenty to properly criticise the club over. You don't need to make up straw grabbing **** like this.

No Norwich City fan throughout its existence will ever do anything more classless than hounding Delia in word and deed.

It's deplorable and crass. She deserves to be allowed to  make her own exit in her own time which, in her 83rd year, she knows is upon her. It's not like leaving a building, she's stepping away in a process that needs to be right and meticulous, and cannot be rushed. Show some respect and decency.

I agree with this. Although I think it doesn't exempt her from criticism which her very recent comments rightly have earnt her.

England got x4 games without being challenged then a qtr against spain or italy.

Nonsense. Denmark are one of the best teams in the Euros. Serbia are underestimated at our peril too.

I think both Belgium and Germany have better groups than England.

Loving the tone but just a guesstimate that at data science team of say 8 paying avg 50k a year costs 400k before pensions etc… Then a team to do the grunt work to collect the data say 20 people of 30k that is 600k. So that is 1 million in staff costs to maintain it. That is before the project to set it up, cloud storage costs and software license for a modern cloud data platform like snowflake or databricks.

Crucially that is if what is discussed is collected, processing and analysing the data ourselves.

Yes, but what is your background to give these as "guesstimates"? I've no idea how much any of this costs, or even as a comparison to what is already spent on data to say this would cost "millions" to set up and maintain.

I'm not trying to entirely take the **** here; this data side of football is something new to me and I'm keen to know more, particularly given our impending steer towards it as a mode of building a squad.

So the plan is that we can compile stats better than say the DAZN group who have revenues of over 2 billion pounds. Just setting this up etc.. will cost millions and running millions more. Yes get the data use the data as part of the decision making process but come on let’s be realistic.

And people think Soccerbot was a waste of money.

On what basis do you make that estimate of cost? What history, experience or qualification do you have to make that sort of statement?

... he recommended the removal of Wagner but the Board blocked it. To me, this seems quite likely with Zoe, Delia and Michael ganging up against him.

Easy for me to say he should, of course, because it wouldn't be me who faced legal action and financial consequences and an early career scuppered because of a reputation for being 'difficult'.

I suspect he already wishes he had never applied for the job.

What is all this based on beyond a desire to wish or assume the very worst of our club at the moment? Honestly, it's well over the top.

Every real fan has a dislike for that horrible person. She's old and appears to be losing her mind by the state of her drunken appearance tonight

Every real person should have a dislike of your ageist, discriminatory post. Disgusting.

Really, really riles you when somebody posts something positive doesn't it?

I'll carry on keeping a level head about our club mate, you just carry on with your remorseless campaign of grinding negativity.

He's a wind up merchant. Probably because there's nothing else to do in the Midlands. Ignore.

  11. Because at 2 up, I still felt like we were going to lose. If I'm thinking that - can't imagine that fragility was not going through the minds of players as well.

I can't see how we change it. We've got a Sporting Director seemingly paralysed by being new to the situation and role. A board whose inaction and own indecision and uncertainty and incompetence has allowed this situation to fester to a point where we seem like a team totally out of control. A head coach who has shown time and time and time again that he's just not up to turning this ship around and is making the most bizarre decisions (what the **** were those substitutions today?!) and saying some of the most bizarre things in interviews I've ever heard (a squad unanimously affected by a seemingly minor injury to one player?!). A squad of players so unbalanced, lacking in toughness and mental aptitude that we just don't believe they will be able to see a game through even two up.

I don't normally like singling individuals out; but how George Long has ended up here when we have young lads like Dan Barden and Archie Mair who I'm sure would have done better than he has tonight? And then there's players like Fassnacht, Giannoulis, Onel and Idah - all of whom I thought had absolutely shocking games tonight. What does Sainz have to do to get a start when these players seemingly stealing a living is no body's clue.

Even Gabby Sara who is maybe our only light in this very bleak season, is really quite frustrating at times.

Absolutely ridiculous and if Wagner remains at the club for Bristol City on Sunday, Knapper really does need his head wobbling.
