The frustration Lee has with the current situation is building week by week.
I think it's consistently excellent. It goes into a level of detail that is unnecessary for the common man, but I've learnt so much about tactical construction and theory reading these articles.
And as for Sam Seaman, I think his stuff is improving too.
Look this is Norwich City. Our fans (who are mostly old, entirely controlled by their partners and have no one to whom their opinion actually matters) don't survive unless they have something to moan at. That is the role NCFC plays and why so many feel the need to go every week even if they say they don't enjoy it.
They secretly do because it's only area of their lives they get the satisfaction of complaint.

Our last 10 league games form;
LWDWDWLLDW
Within that we've had a battling performance against Ipswich and 45 minutes last night. Otherwise performances have been poor to average.
That's hardly "inspirational" (ridiculous thing to say) is it?

Duffy reminds me a huge amount of Gary Doherty. Very good at intercepting, good in the air but absolutely calamitous in possession from time to time. Would expect him to maybe drop down the pecking order if Hanley is coming back.
Overall - there were positives and negatives to that performance. Pleased for the travelling fans to be coming home with a win. Absolutely scared ****less of an irresistible offer from the Premier League for Johnny Rowe who is probably the best young player of his kind outside the Premier League.

Just now, JonnyJonnyRowe said:He was much better in the second half.
And this thread now feels harsh.
However his selection in the team comes at the cost of an extra midfield player, which is why he is needed to drop deep and pitch in, so when he's not really getting involved it feels like playing with 10 men.
Who would you pick who would offer more, though?
I'm a big Liam Gibbs fan. I do think if Gibbs and Barnes were used in rotation with one another we would better develop a good young player and keep Barnes fitter and fresher.
But beyond that, if Kenny is in defence, the options are slim. I would really like to see another CM in, especially if Kenny in defence is going to become a regular option.

Must admit that was my first thought when I heard the tie was likely to be on TV - the prospect of a windfall, not paying off Wagner!

I don't see it would have made a material difference in the outcome of the season. It may have made it more palatable given the football would have likely been better. Would have been interesting to see if Buendia could have had a greater impact than the first Premier League season.

Hwang was pretty much a metaphor for Norwich under Wagner. Occasional flashes of being decent but mostly just a major disappointment.

Hull have quite rich owners don't they? Would be a huge coup for anyone in this league.

Which are you again? You regularly play the role of both.

Because a man doesn't want to retire doesn't mean he shouldn't.

Positivity is one of the reasons he is good for situations like this - he galvanises players, doesn't fill their heads with too much information and tells them to just go out and play. He is a Mr Motivator. Ideal for the rest of this season.
He's a spent force who should be allowed to enjoy his retirement rather than evoked by every championship club in desperate need of rescue. Just goes to show how far our fans think we have dropped for even the idiots of this forum to be throwing his name up.
Hard pass.

You can't argue they had the better of the chances. Draw probably a fair reflection, but I'd say they were ever so slightly the more deserving.

What amazing supporters you all are. He's not up to first team standard and probably needs a loan. To call him "truly awful", "crap" and hope you "never see him in a Norwich shirt again" is more reflecting on the sort of **** level of supporter we have at this club than anything else.
Disgraceful.

I find that I can only make matches that are during the day because of having to rely on public transport. This means that I have to miss all evening games.Of course I used to go to every game. But that no longer applies.I am sure other supporters also miss some games due holidays, family events, illness etc.In recent weeks there are gaps in the stands around for all to see. I just wonder how many matches the average Season Ticket holder does actually get to. This is mainly prompted by a bloke I met in the pub over Christmas who claimed that he had two season tickets (for himself and his boy) but he had not used them for two or three years. Just kept up the standing order really to show support for the Club. So, how many games do season ticket holders actually get to ?- All the games
- All bar a few
- Most
- Some
- None
So I used to have a season ticket and then took up a job which has me working nights and weekends.
I kept my season ticket for the first season. I counted up how many games I went to and worked out it made more sense financially to just buy ad hoc tickets.
I suspect it's because we're playing so poorly at the moment but with a membership I've never had a problem getting a ticket.

No, and your views are formed on recency bias.
Bryan Gunn, Glenn Roeder and Brian Hamilton were worse. Peter Grant is also possibly worse but he has characteristics which might save him.
As for Idah and Hernandez they don't even make the bottom 8 for their respective positions.

Not sure why they thought it was a good idea to drive through that mob to be honest. Surprised they didn’t get a lot more thrown at the car.
Doesn't make it alright does it? It's a bit like trying to argue someone robbed of their rolex was in the wrong because they shouldn't wear it.

That'll be interesting to keep an eye on. Maybe might answer how a player makes such quick progression elsewhere when compared to here.
