I like it. Something different for us. For me anything is better than a plain yellow shirt with a green collar, which I think a lot of people seem to want. My prediction for next season: diagonal stripes.

Plymouth would be Champs League winners if they played in red.

I'll be heading down to the protest because I'm simply furious that Delia Smith isn't as rich as Saudi Arabia. I mean, how dare she treat us supporters like this?
-
Get real. The club is in a significantly better place due to Webber. Name some clubs with a similar budget who have done as well, or better than us since he came in?
-
I thought he got injured warming up at half time on Tuesday? I was watching the bench-cam video from Tuesday and he didn't seem to be on the bench for a while after half time, so I thought maybe he was on the physio table or something? He then emerged later.

I'm not sure Dowell and Emi should even be mentioned in the same conversation.

I agree, I swear he hates us. It makes watching a bad performance even more infuriating when his punditry is so one-sided.

He played an integral part in 2 PL promotions. Or did you only just start supporting us this season?
-
Any player who was a part of those 2 Farke promotions will always have a place in Canary folklore as far as I'm concerned. Sad to see him go and not fulfill his potential here. Good luck to him.

He's done really well these last 2 matches (who hasn't in the squad?), but he did also have a really good spell towards the end of our previous Champ season, but then sort of disappeared again, so it will take a few more weeks of solid performances for me to be fully convinced he needs to stay.

I always felt for him, and wanted to see him get more of a chance. He was clearly desperate to play for us but was just never going to play ahead of Pukki when we only played one striker, or now Sargent either.
I remember in a game not long ago him being away on the break and the ref blowing up for full time (we'd won the match) and he booted the ball away in momentary frustration at being denied the chance of scoring. I liked that attitude.

Exactly. If Pukki makes a heavy touch under pressure and loses possession - no harm done, Gibson does it and potentially the whole match result is placed at his feet. How many CBs below the elite (Van Dijk, Cannavaro etc) are capable of never making mistakes?
-
I find it utterly baffling that so many people think we should get rid of Hanley - how many better CBs are there in the Champ right now? I think CBs have the sort of role, much like keepers, where people tend to only notice the mistakes, and therefore every club's fanbase is excessively critical of their own CBs. I bet if you asked all the fans across the Champ, they'd all say the grass was greener at other clubs in terms of their defenders.

We were top at one point this season. Is it really so ridiculous to think we could at least get into the playoffs with those same players?

Another remnant of Dean Smiths incompetence gone.
Hayden next please.
You truly are unhinged.

I fundamentally don't want us to become the sort of club who sacks managers when we're sitting in the play-offs.

I think people are really understating how good QPR were yesterday, especially in defence. It's very blinkered to ignore the opposition's performance when assessing you own team's, and just to base it purely on league positions. I thought we looked fairly good. We were solid throughout with occasional patches of attacking domination. Obviously we need to increase the length and regularity of those periods of domination, but that's where we go from here hopefully.

It has no place in the game and should be binned. It undermines the referee, slows the game down and it has been shown that it doesn't help to get decisions consistently correct. No, it doesn't even out over a season either.
Came on here to say the same thing. How many more years of people saying "it's not VAR, it's the way it's being used" and nothing changing do we have to endure before people realise that maybe, just maybe that isn't the case?

It's almost laughably bad luck to lose 2 LBs in 2 successive matches.

I like it, probably more than the away kit, but I fundamentally believe our badge should always be the normal yellow and green, whatever kit it's on, even if it clashes. A badge is a badge.- 1

When you see the players we've got who are about to make debuts, or soon to be returning from injury, it does make you realise how strong our squad is. It gives me hope anyway.
-
I feel similar to the OP and others.
Maybe if this US investment comes to something it will give us all a bit more optimism about the possibility of staying up if we manage promotion this season? Knowing that we'd have a bit more in the bank to spend on players upon promotion, it would change how we felt about it all? Meanwhile, I am quite excited to see us with some of these new midfielders.

We're missing Dowell at number 10 and I'm yet to be convinced by Rashica or Sargent. I'd be genuinely happier if we were starting with Hernandez and Sinani.
Cantwell scored a lot for us in 2020-21 didn't he?

In that farewell video he celebrates a goal by removing his shirt to reveal the same shirt underneath, which as far as humorous goal celebrations go, is pretty good to be fair.
