Can I be a ballboy/girl/person please?
Or Captain Canary? I can miss those kid's shots at half-time with the best of 'em...

This video footage is of two games, I wasn't playing in the first one, but the game I was playing in starts from 55 seconds in. I'm the goalie in blue, nearer the camera.
(1) FacebookI know this is amateur footage but it appears you are playing somewhere near the East German side of the Berlin Wall under dusk and searchlights. Was this some kind of Escape to Victory-type ruse to reach the West😉

Disappointed he didn't turn up in a syrup for the photoshoot tbh. Spoilsport. And legend.

The Mayor for me too. Held the fort as best he could during the injury hit weeks we had, was versatile, passionate and never went missing even when the season and certain futures were in the balance.
As a side note, I've voted for Nathan West as the Michelle Dack Fan of the Season. Raised loads for charidee but also came out of the online trolling with lots of resilience.

Seven points from a week with the derby and two away games.
Fantastic

No No No...you're doing this all wrong.
It was a case of 'after the Lord Mayor's show' and we threw the whole season away away against the Owls; plus Wagner shouldn't be anywhere near this club today/tomorrow morning/by the end of the week/next season/ever*

I travel further than you. The rumours are you don't leave your Nan's basement.

Good choice. Perfect block to witness how many of your superstar team Núñez's free-kick managed to avoid. You could count them on the fingers of your right hand...

I repeat...weak ref.
The signs were there from minute one.
Bottled any tangible decision.

This team have zero bottle when it matters. It ain't happening. Which is a good thing. If we miraculously got promoted Wagner would keep his job. Imagine Wagner's Norwich City in the Prem!!! Every week would be a 10-0 hammering. Shudder. Reset needed. Get the coffin dodgers out. Get this incompetent clown of a manger out. And hope the Attanasio's and Knapper know what they are doing.
All the best.
Big Keith Scott.

It's nights like this that provide the best reason to dust this off again...

I applaud Kenny for it tbh.
One of our best players and deserves better recognition.
The entitlement from those who think the game is just a matter of kicking the ball towards the goal need to give their heads a wobble.
Sunderland frustrated us and we were nervous but that was not the way to show frustration.
Totally unwarranted.

If you zoom in on the left hand chimney you will see underneath 3 men standing in mid air. They had ladders in their back garden and watched for free.
I think this is a cup tie against Corinthians which attracted an attendance of 26,000
Standing on a ladder in the back garden of 20 Malvern Road was the 1920s equivalent of a cracked Firestick or a dodgy stream...

The blokes on ladders were presumably on Malvern Road and the white building on the corner nearest Rosary Road is marked as the Pavilion - presumably where the dressing rooms were and pre-match Woodbines were puffed and horse liniment applied...

Just now, The Raptor said:You got to see really niche Norwich supporters groups. What more do you want?!
Anyone up for joining prince of Wales road canaries and having a wander round the pitch once a year?
That's a great idea.
I did also suggest starting an Overweight Middle-aged High Cholesterol supporters group but would probably need more than 10 minutes to get round the pitch. And some chairs about halfway round.

No crossbar challenge and my ears were assaulted by a 'Disc Jockey' spinning records by popular beat combos, the like of whom I had never heard previously
I would rather a marching band, police dog display team, or even the Sky Strikers...

Thanks Ricardo
For me, Ricardo is a throwback to those halcyon days of the Pink 'Un reporting of Bruce Robinson and Keith Skipper. No coincidence he's one of our longest serving fans and no doubt devoured that wonderful local, skilled journalism every weekend pre-interwebs...
