It has to do with the fact we were second in the table around christmas time or maybe a bit later - i dont remember, with Bellamy just broken thru and on a streak of form and Iwan providing an excellent foil for Bellers, and Muscat went thru Bellamy and broke his leg and we didn''t even get a free kick for it, but it left our promotion hopes shattered.
Plus the fact they are scum. Fans are awful - arrogant, abusive, attempt to intimidate outside the ground etc etc. They always hark back to their glory days and cannot accept that they are now a small team - probably the smallest from the area - WBA, brum and villa are all bigger, better supported teams, - coventry are the only localish team smaller than them.

i wasnt aware i was laying into Roeder? i said i thought it was a bizarre starting line up. and i did. It proved to a great lineup and i am happy about that and pleased we have got Glenn at the heln. as i have been since the scum game. -

well we did concede late - as we have for the past 2 games - luckily the linesman saw him offside!!

i looked at one from northants going thru london but was still expensive and very longwinded - wouldve had to get tube across london and it wouldve taken 4 and a bit hours. it takes me 3 and a bit from bham. -
we started with curo and dublin at stoke and played wonderful passing stuff in the first half.
cant argue with the scoreline though. worked so far.

Croft at least tries hard, which i havent seen from smith thus far this season!!
I agree Croft is poor, but Smith has not done anything in the time he has been given on the pitch. at least croft looks like he might occassionally!!

I looked at going today - then realised the train fare from my girlfriend''s in Kettering was 20more than i pay from Birmingham which is further away. 50quid seems a bit steep considering the distance involved and i just couldnt justify it this close to xmas.
Condolences on missing the game, it is a sad legacy of Thatcher privatising the industry that it is cheaper to fly to Spain than it is to travel 60 or 70miles by train.

I don''t think you can leave big Dion out. Smith hasnt done anything to warrant a start so i''d say the first XI was the better option. Smith on the bench always leaves us the option to bring him on for Dion if he starts to tire, or just to mix it up a bit if its not going our way. -
I am of polish origin, i have no problem admitting this. Miroslav Klose was born in and grew up in Poland with his German parents. he plays for Germany, or do you think he should play for Poland?

Not everything is as cut and dried as you guys seem to think. There are situations which bring up grey areas, and i am one of those circumstances! I made my decision from a young age, due to the socialisation i received from my parents, and the place i felt was MY country and my home and the place i took a pride in saying i was from.
Back to the point, you all seem to be rooting for Hatton because you are british and so is he. I am not rooting for Mayweather because he is not British - I am supporting Mayweather as i hate Ricky Hatton. I don''t think he is intelligent, He hasn''t risen from the depths of social lows to become the best fighter, he doesn''t interview very well, and resorts to copycat tactics from long-forgotten pre-fight press conferences in a bid to intimidate (see his finger across the throat taunt in reference to Bernard Hopkins)
