1. Dunno what BHA''s set-up is, but West Brom have Richard Garlick as Director of Football (succeeded Dan Ashworth when he went to the FA), who is responsible for player transfers. Their "manager" is more of a first team coach role than a traditional managerial position and has been for several years. That''s why they''re still signing.

  2. Just seen the article linking him.
Would be very, very happy with this appointment. thought he did well with Leverkusen and has the pedigree as a player to attract players, and the contacts in the game to be very successful.
    Hope this one pans out.

  3. Can anyone clarify who Moody was responsible for signing last summer? The players bought prior to last season weren''t too bad, but last summer''s transfers were a car-crash for Cardiff. Obviously Moody was sacked in the off-season, can anyone clarify when, and if he was responsible for the signing of say, gary Medel, or Cornelius, or whether it was that random kid who bought them in?

  4.
Trust someone associated with such a boring sport as cricket to know the worlds most boring man, Tim Sherwood
I agree with both cricket, and Sherwood being incredibly dull, but nobody said anyone knew Sherwood, the "player" "knows" Mark Robson who is manager of our youth setup.

  5.
To get the boards first choice or any manager after the way they failed massively to back the previous full time manager and sacked him when we were five points clear with only five games left. The board who failed and fans who booed CH and the players may have cost us more long term than I dare to think.
Have you not had enough attention off your parents? Starting to think you need Social Services round as you''re so desperate for attention all the time.
AKA... Shut up, f**k off, it''s boring.
If you''re going to troll and attention seek, at least come up with some original material rather than recycling this nonsense.

  6.
Will be officially announced Monday 14.15. No word on Adams position. Would hope he is kept on in some capacity.
Anyone know anything about this guy? Does he have any kind of record? (I mean the poster, not Sherwood!)

  7.

morty wrote the following post at 16/05/2014 7:37 PM:

I love that we can get an argument out of pretty much anything, if we try hard enough.

The sky is blue. Any takers?
Technically, as you go higher in the stratosphere, its black....
It''s not blue at night either.
My bet is JF is a binner due to his obvious obsession with the colour blue.

  8.
my guess is one of the promoted sides away, might even get the mighty wolves !!!!! Ugh
I''d be disappointed if it''s Wolves away. Being Midlands based means that getting to FCR aint always that simple, so I go to all the local away games, and some further afield in addition to the odd jaunt up to CR. However, I''m in Turkey from 3rd of August until the 20th so I''d be annoyed if I lost a local game!

  9. "He just wasn''t picked. He''s fit to play, I thought Jamar (Loza) deserved his chance and I thought Jamar has vindicated that decision. It was a simple, straightforward choice.

"He''s not spoken to anyone, obviously the players that are not involved leave the dressing room and what happens after that I don''t know. - Neil adams

For an £8.5mill Dutch international to lose his squad space to a 19 year old kid who hasn''t kicked a ball for the club, you would guess would cause said Dutch international some anger. The kid on Twitter put it up before the team was announced so he''s obviously seen him leave. How angry he was, and whether it was a full blown tantrum, or just a rush to go and fetch his family to be back in time for kick off will forever remain unknown.

  10.
looks like "tyles" from the tweet has a very vivid imagination then if RVW is in the jarrold.
To be fair, he could well have sped off in his car then thought about how unprofessional he would look and gone back. Could also have sped off to pick up his wife or whatever when told he wasn''t playing a part. May have looked like he stormed off.

Him being in the Jarrold doesn''t really prove this kid is a fantasist and radio Norfolk also reported Ricky had left the ground...

  11. The rumour on twitter is that Wolfy has just stormed out of CR, got in his car and F**ked right off.

Be interesting to see if this is true!
    1. Well, the Wolf has just stormed out of the club, got in his car and fucked off. See ya...

    2. yep, me and dad followed him round as was sure it was him. Got in his Bentley and floored it out of the car park

  12. Thanks for that, interesting insight.
I think what you have said here echoes my own opinion (although that is formed from a far lower breadth of knowledge obviously).
I''m not keen on Malky, and sincerely hope we don''t get him, because I feel that as you say, he is a Championship manager who achieved beyond his capabilities (As in, he got to the Premier League, but he''s not capable of being a successful Prem manager right now).
Was it £12mill he spent on Medel? It was some ridiculous figure for an incredibly over-rated player.
Good to hear someone with more knowledge, offering the same views that many of us are being criticised for expressing, by our fellow fans who see Mackay as the saviour in waiting.

  13.
Hard to disagree with Iwan on that. Malky could be the ideal fit, knows what''s what and far from a ''yes'' man.
Why is everyone so intent on getting Malky in? Haven''t we watched enough dour, boring, $hit football in the last two years?!

  14. Can we not all chip in like United did?
If we all popped a fiver in the pot, we could probably get a Russian mercenary in to etch the scorelines into Hughton''s skin with a rusty razor.... That would probably be good as an ironic extra on the DVD which should most definitely be called "Death by a thousand cuts"

  15.
Re the radio thing I know that radio norfuckian is blocked! However the team we plays, local station most prob also broadcasts the match albeit with a bias commentary team anyone know if this station would also be blocked?
Yes, do you think we''re the only team in the country that broadcast rights apply to? Every team in the Champs is in the same boat, and have their various "players" on their websites.
There are no apps that will give a radio Norfolk (or any other local radio) commentary stream, as they access the digital broadcast of the radio station, and this is blocked during game times.
