Way out of league here never will be able to compete complete waste of time getting promoted if can’t compete

    Just so I understand,

Are you saying that IF (yes it's a big if) we get promoted next season, the club management refuse the the promotion and stay in the Champs??

If so, what players do you think will actually want to come here???

Iwan Roberts is the latest to blame the club for the timing of the sacking.

I just don't get it. The decision had been made during the week. It had to be delivered to Daniel as soon as possible.

The players needed reassurance and some explanation of what was going on. Sunday was a day off and then the group split up during international week. So Stuart Webber called the players together at 10pm on Saturday at Colney to talk about it.

So, what other timing would have worked? It just feels like club-bashing for tbe sake of it.

In terms of impact on Daniel, the timing makes not one jot of difference. It was painful no matter when it happened. To sit on the news for hours / days would have made no sense at all.

For me it was bad timing.

    What other timing?

The coach bringing them all back would have either gone to Colney or CR, it's not like the cabbage coaches where the drive 'might' drop a few people off here/there for a beer token. In either case the players & Farke could have been told there NOT at an away stadium.

I guess that makes me 'thick' !!!!

what became clear yesterday is gilmour, rupp &  kenny (& rashica as the attacking left player) offer no wide protection to the left back and we were probably marginally worse second than first half.  None of  them provide that physical element we are missing,  or the ability the shield the back line or the ability of either skipp or buendia to win the ball back.   Gilmour at the base may prove to be  a poor choice for the base despite the occassional flourished ball out wide.

PLM has some physicality and has offered limited success in front of aarons while being the best of the middle 3 for probing through balls and goal threat.

Lungi appears to be an option but farke doesnt seem to want him

At the moment it feels a big step to assume that this formation with this squad will fare better against lesser sides than the last two PL champions,  so either personnel &/or formation has to change.

This was and is so important to our play, it was very clear that whoever is playing LB, the midfield has to help out.

I discussed this point with my son only last week. It is vital to our play that ALL players on the pitch need to be aware of where the opposition are focusing on for their attacks and the appropriate support is needed. In this case Dimi was left exposed and ManC exploited it.

We are now part of Boris experiment.

Our son tested negative yesterday but positive today, so he 99% certain caught it in or around Wembley Wednesday. The rest of the household are double vaccinated ( but will still have to isolate ) so we will see if the vaccines hold up.

Fingers crossed for you all WBB.

Right. I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night half an hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad and our mother would kill us and dance about on our graves singing Hallelujah...

Were you in the cardboard box next door to us??

Noticeable when we should be accelerating vaccinations it’s going the other way!

Last night on the news they said that we only have circa 1.5m doses per week for 1st jabs, so that ties in with the drop in vaccinations.
