I think the last club to make a complaint about tapping up was Southampton when they were a bit pissed off with Liverpool's aggressive approaches for van Dijk. Things got resolved in the end when they accepted a bid...
Last case I recall was the Colchester chairman when we nicked Lambert lol

Wouldn't sign anyone who refuses to play for his current club
-
If Aboh has indicated he will definitely leave, then don't give him development games, play someone who wants to stay.

We do have the players.. we compare them to Farke teams and they are well below, but compare them to teams in the league and we are top 6 easily.
A good coach with a single minded drive for promotion would get us in play offs comfortably.

In fairness to him he has been a goal threat at times, I think as is the case for years, he's a central/10 player that we play out widely. Even Wessi wasn't great when played out wide.
But that's the main issue. We don't play players in their best position. Gibbs up front? Nunez or Sara often the deeper midfield, at times Nunez was the deepest defender with the centre backs wide on the half way line.
And Barnes..he's a passenger. I'm not sure we have ever played the ball to him to hold up with his strength and lay off to oon rushing attackers. We cross in hope not aiming for him. He doesn't even press tge GK or defenders now.
We need a vision and philosophy. A coach to deliver that philosophy and players to fit within that set up

Think I'd take winning at Ipswich and being relegated right now

How sure are you?
I should have gone for 3-2..more so at 2-0

We are still crap defensively despite what Wagner claims. We may score 1 or 2 but Watford will score 3+

Also, the syllables work better with Ronaldinho.
I was still quite young at the time so could be wrong/singing whatever the hell I wanted.
I remember it as Ronaldinho too.. needs the 5 syllables to fit I think

They beat us at Carrow road......with the help of a floodlight perhaps

Crap defending but an annoyingly good and inevitable fk goal

Typical
Didn't Webber just waste more of our money on a swimming pool at the training ground!!!

There's a shop down near anglia Square, Aladdins Cave? Tjat sells lots of old programmes from different clubs I'm sure wld take them
-
The hand over thing is pathetic.
Let's not forget Webber actually quit in January but only made that public in June.
We should have had a new SD in place for the summer ready for this season.

Because Wagner us so **** we can't even beat a drum at home now

Can't believe I forgot Rowe lol...

Long
Duffy Gibson Warner
Stacey Giannoulis
Forshaw McClean
Sara
Nunez
Idah
As solid as possible centrally. Wingback offering width with Nunez and Sara concentrating on unlocking defences..
-
Strange one.
Although I think I'd rather try Springett down the middle as a striker over Hwang.
We were promised we would be one of the fittest teams but I can't remember the last time we finished a game strongly..
I also don't understand why whenvwe are winning we seem to actively shut up shop with 30mins left and set up to defend and attack on the break when the one thing we can't do is shut up shop and defend
Leeds take the lead and then defend deep and we can't create any chances. We defend deep and they run though us easily

Ipswich really aren't that good they are just full of confidence.
Preston have made a great start to the season too but no one thinks they are top 2 quality
Ipswich are better than I thought but no higher than 4th

it seems a bit like that at the moment ,
we all were excited thinking this season we will get a sitting CDM nothing
then we all were crying out for a replacement for Sarge we get Hwang not nothing but close to it ,
I think we can cope without a cdm when we have sargent and Barnes defending from the front and forcing the opposition back. Without them teams just run through us. Need at least forshaw next game. Maybe even Forshaw gibbs and McClean anchoring the centre with idah up front alone and Sara Rowe in support

I would be tempted to drop Idah for an extra body in midfield, gibbs or Forshaw, but I think we may need to stick with Idah, he needs to have a run of games10-15 , and he needs to deliver finally

He said he was asked to write more articles on the wider football world rather than just Norwich
-
17 minutes ago, Yellow and Green said:I write this as a huge MB fan, and think he's the best NCFC journo, but is there anyone who knows:
1) What other areas he's now covering for the Athletic.
2) How often he will attend Norwich games.
3) How often he will produce any kind of content (articles/podcasts) for ncfc, or is it just a 'when I have time' type of thing?
It's been 2 weeks since the last ncfc article (three games have passed since then) and the few pieces produced over the summer were minimal.
Any info would be great so I can set my expectations!

Not sure. From recollection I think the transfer was sudden and out of the blue so not sure if there was time to worryvabout injuries, because our finances were fecked. Didn't we sell him and Jon Newsome on same day in desperation?
