*into* todays team -
Would they have got in any of our teams for any other games this season? Possibly Reading at home? Other than that, neither would have been asked to get changed
P.S. I would have got today''s team.
-
I''ll get back to you in July -
Danny Crow''s on fire..................... -
Didn''t Cody score recently, also? -
I would say that Brentford deserved to win at Carrow Road more than any other side this season, but Darren Eadie got it spot on. I wouldn''t have swapped any of their players, for any of ours, except one (Pritchard)
They were well organised, but lots of our players had very poor games. Easily the worst we have played for a long long time
The frustrating thing is that if Brentford are (quite rightly on merit) in the top 6 of this League, then it isn''t the strongest to achieve promotion, and we SHOULD (with squad etc) be right up there, but we are not

Agree Dicky.
Loved Lambert''s time here , but he only had one season with us in the top flight (which I enjoyed thoroughly), and momentum is an underrated thing.
The likes of Bondy, Brown, Stringer and Walker hold a special place in my (footballing) affections, and would not put Lambert at the top of my list
p.s Bournemouth have scored more League goals in Birmingham this season that Villa

Not quite the same as Tevez, Jimmy, but I will applaud all the players ,as normal, as the team is being announced.
What will you do?

For Gawds sake
Can anyone remember how much the season ticket was, the last time we were in the Championship?
I have been highly critical of the managers appointed since the Messiah was forced out the club In terms of his vision, his ethos I think he maybe finally a suitable successor. What I was impressed about against Cardiff was we were under massive pressure at 3 - 2 instead of going defensive we put on Wes and Murphy. A messiah move if I ever seen it. Early days but I am encouraged
and the massed ranks breathe a collective sigh of relief...................

I also watched the NTA awards, but had my laptop to hand, just to see what else was happening....... -
What did you do for fun tonight Alartz? (Apart from putting a post on here?) -
Well West ham have bid £2m for their full back who has been mentioned for us. Some of them aren''t bad -
A Leopard never changes it''s spots.
Scores enough to control the game, and then goes all defensive in the second half trying to protect the lead
Huuughton out
-
Have a look on the ''Match Thread'' thread, it''s great! -
Huououghton must have lost the dressing room already, and the players are playing their way -
I think a fairer comparison would be with another relegated team, not with a team that''s just received many millions, and in an area like Birmingham (jobs/unemployment etc) -
1-0 up and tries to defend a slim lead for 70 minutes, and look what happens. Hooooootun out
In Alex Neil we trust
-
Well Hufton''s team has got it''s goal -
Don''t sell McCourt, Paddy McCourt.
I just don''t think you''ll understand,
That if you sell McCourt, Paddy McCourt.
You''re gonna have a riot on your hands -
Stockdale has NEVER done us any favours -
It''s hardly the DFS sale is it, for crying out loud? -
Iwan for Manager, hey pete? -
How much would you be willing to pay for a shirt, that has, say, Jerome on it?

VERY quick and short reply as time is against me
Congrats to you, as I said already that you were the team that has deserved to win,as you were organised, and had Pritchard as your main man. You mention some of your other players, but other teams in this League have equally, if not better, players than all those, it is just that you were well organised, and that has got you to where you are today, and that has to be recognised, and applauded.
We haven''t played anywhere near like that all season, so paying the money, that seems to take up half you post, has seen some excellent football, and there is no argument that we have been very unlucky in some games.
The ''missing'' 1000 isn''t as straightforward as you try and make out, because of the dynamics of the ground (the seats were not next to your fans etc)
Ticket pricing? We have recently been exposed to the Premier League money, and is it right? Not in my eyes. Do I (you) have a choice? Oh yes
Away fans? Always the most vocal, and we have some of the best ourselves. Home fans, yes could have done better, but what we were served up yesterday, made it hard to maintain the full on support. It was an alien performance from us. If we had passed the ball better and played anywhere near what we have, then the support would have been stronger, but no matter what fans say, about always backing your team, sometimes and in certain circumstances, it doesn''t happen, yesterday was one of those days
All in all, well done for yesterday, you guys deserved it, and you need to somehow keep Pritchard!
We also had a pint in the Coach & Horses - very nice!
